If you're a fan of football/soccer, then you should be familiar with the UEFA Champions League. Hosting a large array of teams and some of the sport's greatest stars, it's the premier European club football tournament that's been gaining in global popularity in recent years. The 2009 final of the competition actually surpassed Super Bowl XLIII as the most watched sporting event worldwide that year, with 109 million viewers watching the entire match (206 million partial viewers).
