Btw, I like the speed the notification led is blinking, I no longer have to wait for like 2 seconds to see if I did missed anything, if there is a need, maybe give the option of fast blinking and slow blinking :P

Just another question, do you think it's possible to fix the Dialing tone problem? There are no dialing tone, which is not very important but a little annoying. (I think it only occurs on some networks and some countries) It was fixed in the 2.100.07 Eclair update and the Froyo bins.

Well, there's no Dialing tone xD.

It got fixed in Eclair 2.100.07 and all the Froyo leaks. But on most of the custom ROMs not based on the Acer leaks there's no dialing tone.

Hello everybody,

I spend several days to build a new CM6.1 ROM. It's based on Xian's CM device tree, Koudelka's CM build and Phh's kernel(Big thanks to Xian, Phh, Koudelka and many other contributors).

In this ROM, I have fixed the light and proximity sensor, and also spend long time to fix the camera FC issue(camera no logger FC). Now, it almost all functionality except the camcorder.

The performance in this ROM is so amazing. Here is the benchmark score with 1036MHz kernel.

Ok, There are several buggy things reported.

1. Twitter can't be installed (Thanks CedricGatay, Quipeace and koudelka teach me how to fix)

2. Proximity sensor seems not working (Thanks demura, Jzhou, and simoneser) -> I will increase the distance threshold

3. BlueTooth things(Thanks mmkim and yegouzi) -> I will check what's wrong with bluetooth.

4. DHCP not to work(Thanks Andy__P and barmyman) -> That's strange, I'll check.

Update:

Sorry for late, v1.1 is available now, in this version I fixed following:

1. Twitter and some apps using goggle services can be installed without error(Thanks CedricGatay, Quipeace and koudelka teach me how to fix)

2. Proximity sensor is sensitive now(I use a new method to detect threshold)

3. BlueTooth audio is working fine

4. Camcoder is working now

5. Green preview in camera using 500M is no longer exit.

Sorry for late, v1.2 is available now, in this version I fixed following:

1. Menu unlock only if you set true in CM config

2. Camcoder use h264 encoder(High performance) and support 480p or WVGA(800*480) resolution

3. Notification LED become slow blinking mode

4. using the last leak necessary libs

Unfortunately, the proximity sensor from the same problem as before. Once in communication, the screen does not resume from standby ...... mother as they are depressed ... but so much .... you can fix it?

About the PowerManagerServices logcat. it's only exception, not a big deal. So it'll not cause some problems.

If you want to solve this, just add proper config_autoBrightnessKeyboardBacklightValues and config_autoBrightnessButtonBacklightValues in framework-res and the exception will gone.

So, I send a call, your ear and the sensor works by turning off the screen. Move away from your ear when the phone wakes me the sensor screen. But if no one responds, then the sensor works. Same for incoming calls, the switch after I turn on the screen! Sorry if I butchered your language ... I apologize ... forgiveness forgiveness forgiveness

so, i start a call, bring the earpiece near my ear and sensor shuts off screen. When i move the phone away from my ear, sensor doesn't light up the screen. Otherwise, if nobody answer my call the sensor works as expected. Same thing happens with incoming calls, sensor doesn't light up screen! Sorry if i killed your language... i apologize.. (x3)

If battery life is the only reason you want it decreased then stop worrying, the led lights are none of your concerns when it comes to battery drain. Still, I too can find it bothersome if it's blinking too fast.

Oh man, I do love the speed of this ROM. But with Tethering not working, I am going to stick with FroYoMetal for now.
