I guess you did not enable it in settings->language and keyboard. Double check it and make sure it is checked.
Guest koudelka Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Yes, I can confirm the LED thing. It is not a big deal really. It stops flashing at 90% battery when charging. It would be better if it stops flashing only when it is full. One more thing, I can confirm also that the ringtone does not repeat for a call (I use the "slightly annoying" one normally). A small bug though (one can simply choose a longer ringtone). I am not sure if this is related, but it could be. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=871051
Guest zbrin Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Is it possible to remove the symlink between dalvik-cache and cache? I can do it but after reboot it reverts back to cache. I tried to define a userscript in /data/local/ but it seems it's not executed. Thanks
Guest Ze Mitras Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 I've wonder if someone can help me. Lately I can't install any app from Market. It starts the donwload, and when it finishes the installation it gives an error (Fail Installation).. I've cleared the cache and data of Market, but no success. Does anyone have this problem?

I think it's a common problem in this rom, the problem arise from the symbolic link of dalvik cache between from data partition to cache partition. When you download an app from the market, it creates a temporary file in cache, and then it creates it's dalvik files if you don't have sufficient free space in cache it gives you an error. You can test through "adb shell busybox df -h" or just busybox df -h on terminal emulator. You have 3 hypothesis, break the symlink (which I'm waiting to know how to do), delete some apps and wipe dalvik cache to recover some free space or just change ROM :)

Try to do this -> connect ur phone to computer as mass storage, then in your sd card, go to "android-secure" and remove smdl2tmp1.asec file. Hope it helps :)

Guest roggin Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 yep....i wish....gingerbread....from twitter..."What I meant is that the community got fresh AOSP Gingerbread on Nexus One & Nexus S.".....for xmas Liquid too thx Santa roggin!!! :) Hi wytek, mm, There should be lots of modified in camera to port to gingerbread, I don't think a camera-worked gingerbread can be ported before X'mas. ;) Thanks.

Guest bais Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 Hi roggin, About the Wifi reboot problem, I remember that for his AOSP ROM vache fixed Wifi by libhardwarelegacy and not by kernel, and that way the phone never reboot when you turn off Wifi: @Vache's twitter: Keeping Acer kernel for now (old app2sd is working, wifi tethring too), fixed wifi with a new libhardware_legacy instead of kernel.
Guest memtew Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 I'll try to give more information about my problem with keyboard change: 1. From market download and install any keyboard, Smart Keyboard Pro for example; 2. In Settings->Language and Keyboard enable Smart Keyboard Pro, now it's checked; 3. On home screen long press on menu key -> keyboard opens; 4. Long press on "?123" button -> Dialog window "Android keyboard" opens; 5. Press on "Input method" to open list of installed keyboards, but nothing happens. The second problem - when I remove the phone from my ear: 1. Screen turn ON after 5-6 seconds, but must 1-2 seconds. 2. The phone's screen is locked, but must go to calls list or show call information (I need unlock the phone to end current call for example);
