Replace background highlight image in start menu?

A while ago I found the image in the Windows directory of that cloud-type image that is displayed brigid the program icons when you select something in the start menu. For the life of me I can't remember what it was called.

My question is, could that be replaced with, say, a nice Android like orange square?

And if so, would anyone happen to feel nice enough to make one?
