Yay! Froyo is working, thanks Mrozek and Sinistersky, worked after a last desperate attempt! Market is working for me so is the SD card. Thanks again!

Turned out I have a corrupt file, so I re downloaded everything and reinstalled Beta3 followed by the drivers.

I've manually install the Froyo successfully.

Everything seems fine.

One problem is the Camera is not so stable. Met the "force to close" error message after taking and reviewing a picture. Then the gravity sensor wasn't functional any more. And I found no way to rotate my screen to normal.

Another problem is whether the new beta supports live wallpaper or not? After I downloaded and installedtold a live wallpaper, it told me it's not supported?

BTW, just got a SOD. :)

Anyway, the Froyo is much better than the old 2.1.

Great thx to the dev team!!!

in ubuntu gpated divide your sd in to two

first primary fat 32

@ dev's

thanks for the great work.

do you have any idea why camera isn't working on b7610?

it gives forced close.....

greets tjeerdos

some chip reset/enable pins are mapped different on I8000 and B7610 and are not patched yet.

patched beta3 kernel for B7610 can be downloaded from here when ready.

you could patch it yourself, just patch this on new kernel like it was patched here on old kernel.

more info on B7610 patching on this thread.

I think sdcard is wrong mounted, it should be /sdcard not /mnt/sdcard. Maybe changing in init.rc make it right?

u have any idea how to get it working..... mmcblk1p1 or leave it mmcblk0p1..?? im not sure cause i tried all.....

I think it should be "mount vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p1 /mnt/sdcard"

can't try it now, maybe somebody?

okay well i think the patching is not in my skills. will look in to that do.

so if the patch is ready the camera will work to. that's great.

we can only hope that you or eric has nothing to do today hahahaha. lol

thanks
