I think the point is not the upload speed of your line but the server to upload the thing, which is the one which have to support heavy traffic when we download the beta

when the system is ready I´ll put it on my server just for fun! Don´t know if my server can handle it.

- Beta download page. Please do not mirror, because we need download statistics.

i think the devs can't get the statistics if some download from others server?

Voyteckst, do you (or Sandor) know if it can do harm to the B7610 and/or its battery if I don't disable charging on "Unauthorized battery" and "Unhealth battery"?

I compiled without disabling charge with these occurences, but I don't know this. Sandor wrote the driver, maybe he can tell what consequences are / could be?

(modified as above in:

kern_2.6.32/drivers/power/s3c6410_battery_omnia_II.c

and

kern_2.6.32/drivers/power/s3c6410_battery_saturn.c)

Device is charging now (put a very old battery in it just in case) and the percentage is rising.

It is a dirty workaround, maybe I should search in the code for causes that lead to the unhealth / unauthorized occurences.

Thanx!

Edit: Just comes to my mind that I use 2 spare white-label batteries. Don't have the original battery anymore, to test. Can't reproduce with original battery..

Answer from Sandor: if the battery finiish charging and is not too heat it must be ok.

But it's hard to tell without knowledge about HW of B7610.

Tested that. No heat, and finishing charging.

But it's hard to tell without knowledge about HW of B7610.

If you want to know.. See the PM I sent you last night ;)

Ok, but if you need a mirror I can provide statistics...Cpanel can provide it!

Guys, I think when the really needed a mirror they could use the google code page?!

I think they have their own plan. And just like waiting with publishing this upcoming Beta, they stick to their plan.

I respect them for that. I am convinced that is the best for us users.

I'M translating what Sandor wrote:

PHJ got the Droid and he arrives home at 12:00 and he'll upload it!!! :D

Ok, great! Take your time Developing team. Even though i'm very excited, but it's alright to wait alittle longer. :D

New topic created. Please wait for download link before posting.

Sent from my GT-I8000

You write in your project description that the 30sec LCD bug is still there. Is it true? Or you just forget to remove it from the post.

Thanks.
