Thanks answer but I have a problem

In ubuntu10.10

storage card partition 1 -FAT32(6.9GB)

Partition2 - EXT3(1GB)

extract beta1024.zip -> copy to EXT3 partition

and run MyStorage\haret.exe

mount success but unable to excute init

kernel panic

how?

actually i dont use ubuntu i use windows xp

wow...

but how to access ext3 partition in windows xp?

im not use ext2 partition

i hope use ext3 partition :lol:

are you sure your kernel-cmdline in default.txt points to the right partition?

sounds like it does not.

even if the kernel mounts the vfat partition it has 'success' but did not find the 'init' file then.

dont remove your sd card fro mobile without switching off...and always do safely remove

Extract beta files one more time (ext2.tar.gz). Maybe you're missing some files.

format the card there..it must be showing unknown partition....just format the whole card..it will be ok

after you format...dont format again with samsg. settings.....just put required files....and let haret to format n make ex2 partition

I installed only these two libraries (libdvm and libnativehelper) which I also found on sdx-developers site (same as posted) and linpack shows now ~5mflops. But due to phone problems with kernel fixing sleep (phone disconnect after some few seconds) I'm using old kernel with sleep workaround.

PS. Anyone risked to use this file: SDX-Samdroid-Frozen-Eclair-9-Beta-1.zip ? ;-)

Hello Everybody!

I have try to install on My Storage, but i gets error before booting up. The error is it keep getting 'Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(179,14)' I also try change the 'CMDLINE "rootdelay=2 root=/dev/mmcblk0p5 init=/init' to 'CMDLINE "rootdelay=2 root=/dev/mmcblk0p6 init=/init', but it is still not working.. Anyone can help me? :lol: Thanks!

Are you sure that mmcblk0p5 is good device?

EDIT CMD LINE TO:

CMDLINE "rootdelay=2 root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 init=/init

my current partition is single FAT32 -set as primary - is it okay?
