is it a long time before a n00b like me will be able to get android working on omnia 2 i8000?

seems right now procedures are very technically advanced.

main reason why i want android is all the apps - especailly being able to use skype :P

Guys, i've been messing around with the android files. This is what i've got.

I've been trying to figure out how to change the font colors. Anyone can share some knowledge here cause i'm only a designer.

It's strange because root checker checks something else? Just try to open terminal from android and su.

it it's fixed why don't share it? :P

takes time to compile a new fix...maybe hes close on something else and doesn't want to waste time for each little thing?

Because they testing it. That's why.

You'd be appalled by the best, if a faulty update will be issued.

And because there are still some problems with wake_lock on android.

Do not use root checker. Try app that really want root (SetCPU, adb wireless).

droidwall say me the same error (about iptables rules)

There is no netfilter compiled into kernel. Just tried:

su

iptables -L

And it says that i need load module... I checked kernel sources and it's true.

BUT question is: does su is working for you from terminal in android?

ehhmmmmm, skype works without problem on windows mobile ... even if it's not anymore supported!

or boot into WM and mount "my storage" under linux (if you have it) and do the whole thing from the terminal. worked for me. (had to use sudo with "chmod 6755")

Maybe try to make chmod command manually from adb shell.

Hey it looks nice. Could you please provide more info about what you did to achieve this? I'm interested in a "black theme" to save power and also protect our pixels on our AMOLED screens. Thank you.

1-)Copy the files in my storage

2-)o2beta/haret.exe run

3-)ms dos screen open. finally, writes an error message. (kernel panic not syncing attempted to kill init) is it normal?

I have 1gb internet in my sim card (TURKCELL 3G). But i can't use internet in android. writes in first message, internet works. but i can't use internet.
