I've been using them for quite awhile now and they really seem to improve the overall performance of Android on my Omnia II ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Changes to /init.rc) write /dev/cpuctl/bg_non_interactive/cpu.shares 32 ~~> (Original value is 16) write /proc/sys/kernel/sched_latency_ns 6000000 ~~> (Original value is 10000000) write /proc/sys/kernel/sched_min_granularity_ns 400000 ~~> (Add New Line) (Changes to /system/build.prop) windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec=35 ~~> (Add New Line) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have no idea what these changes do but If they are actually useful, could be implemented in the next beta? We are all really thankful. I would like to suggest to release the beta 2 as it is right now. There may be some guys that could help if they get it in their hands and some unresolved matters (phone or else) might find their solution. Thanks again guys.

Right, it has same CPU, but nothing more (like screen, chips for WiFi, sensors, BT, GSM). It also lags very much because of unfinished OpenFIMG drivers. More compatible is GT-I6500 (only Eclair) and SPH-M910 (Froyo, but CDMA).
