Tethering On Samsung Omnia7 & Focus

i haven't ordered mine yet, but i just came across this info and want to share with you :rolleyes:

since Omnia7 & Focus are almost the same device, the trick will work on both of them.

Thanks for the links. I got it working on my old windows xp laptop, on my new windows 7 laptop not.

Can anybody upload the whole driver package for windows 7 64bit or guide me how to install ? Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot for sharing the link to the drivers. Works perfectly now !!!

I will leave the phone in tethering mode because it can sync with zune over wifi....

The phone can sync with Zune over WiFi out of the box it's one of the main sync features.

All you have to do is enable WiFi in Zune on the PC and once you connect your phone to a charger it will sync or are you trying to sync without charging?

You are right. I have setup WiFi sync on my PC and it´s only working if I connect my phone to a charger. I think it was only a wish being able to sync without charging...

Anyway I´m happy that tethering is working well now on my W7 laptop because it saves money.... Before I was using internet sharing with my OMNIA II so I was missing a little bit this function.
