Thanks in advance. not sure but you could always update to dc21 i believe i had it working b4 I flashed to Nonsense rom which has a working fp app. Also you might want to try the newest cab file and install it (should ask to uninstall the old one) Only thing I cannot get to work is im missing a FacebookUtil.exe or something to get my app/home widgets to work?!? Also where would the FB app be located if I cannot find the shortcut in the startmenu.... sorry for the hijack lol Another i910 converted here, such a nice upgrade wasnt it? i mean its no droid x but pfff i love my omnia's
Guest nvrmind Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 Facebook app is broken... has been for over a month now. The XDAFacebook app works, though. http://code.google.com/p/xda-winmo-facebook/downloads/list

Guest dgyahn Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 Thanks guys, I did update my Rom to DC21 right after getting my phone. I've also downloaded the most current version of Facebook from MS marketplace. Also installed the XDA Facebook. No joy with any of these. I guess I'll just have to live without it on my phone for now. And Sh0rtby I love my new O2, so much nicer than my original Omnia. Could have upgraded to a Droid but since I loved my old Omnia it was a easy decision to go to O2.
Guest dgyahn Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 Thanks everybody. Facebook app is now working. Can't explain it, but I'm happy.
Guest sh0rtyb Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 (edited) Thanks everybody. Facebook app is now working. Can't explain it, but I'm happy. Hhaha gotta love those mystery fixes ! And yea I could have payed the money to go with a droid to i guess, with the progress of andromnida (or what ever they are calling it) should be fun to play with on our o2's. Just like the hardware I guess for the price it was a ez choice for sure. Good to see a few good chiefs around too that was one thing I looked at before making my purchase hehe. I do miss the optical mouse though.... lol PS: Does any one know where the FB app .lnk is in Ninjas Nonsense script?!? I would like to have a shortcut to it in my start menu but can find the launcher... Edited November 12, 2010 by sh0rtyb

Not that this is much help, but with the official MS app I have found that if I start it up with a data connection already active (when isn't it anymore? ;-) ) that if I go in a disconnect data and let the app connect itself, it works ... sometimes... almost like it doesn't act properly when there is already a connection going...

After a few updates it will be close to perfect. I use FB alot for business, so I will be donating to encourage more development. Just not sure where to donate, if anyone knows please throw up a link.
