right guys I had an idea and im gonna seperate it all into 3 development stages

alpha builds- this folder will be where the team will be doing their stuff, this wont be zipped up into a flashable rom, the benefits are that multiple people can work on it at the same time and they will only need to wait the new change to upload not a whole rom which can take a good 10 minutes

beta builds- this folder will be where we think its ready for beta release and I will zip it up into a flashable rom and put it in this folder

final builds- this folder will be where we think its ready for official final release and I move it into this folder

once it has reached the beta and final builds no one will touch the rom and only I alone will be able to make changes to those folders

so antoniopt and ve100 I will remove you from the root folder and invite you just to the alpha builds folder

of course I am still open to ideas so if this doesnt work out then antonioPT you can setup the github and I will learn how to commit changes and all that other stuff

Hi All, I'm trying out V6b4 and so far so good, I changed the LCD density back to 160 and had to change the clock colour to white but i like it.

Would you be able to create a vanilla flashable zip like flib does for FLB, with all the stock android pics and transitions? I just prefer the stock white/grey look.

Many thanks and keep up the good work!

I installed the latest version of your ROM and it definitely seems to have some benefits - pages are loading much faster in the browser it seems.

However gmail didn't install on installing gapps (installed from market place fine though) and also I don't have a clock in the bar at the top of the screen - could this be because I am coming from the Tre ROM? How can I get the clock back - the1c3man suggests he had to change the clock colour, so how do I do that?

Also I tried to install the Espresso theme for CM6 v0.4 from Ogiogis thread (http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile-pulse-pulse-modaco-com/317987/theme-espresso-mod-for-cm6-0-40-18-12-2010/)........actually scratch that, I think I installed the wrong version. Yeah, I did - installed OK but I still don't have a clock. Boo.

it's easy, first go to settings, then CyanogenMod parameters, then the user interface, status bar, and last color of the clock.

;)

Right guys to keep ourselves more productive I am going to create a spreadsheet listing all the bugs and whether it is fixed or not, so please guys think at the top of your head any bugs that are a problem for us

Hi Dr Who, How did you install the Espresso theme for CM6 v0.4 from Ogiogis thread? I downloaded the "Espresso MOD for CyanogenMOD 6 port for Pulse beta-0.40" zip at the bottom of the second post, flashed it, and nothing, then tried downloading the Espresso.CM6.xml poped that in the CMTheme folder on the SD cad, the selected the theme though cyanogen setting, rebooted and nothing.

How did you get the theme to work?

Also Clock colour change instructions, go to Settings, cyanogen settings, User interface, Status Bar, clock colour.

Thanks Richard, dark8899 and iceman for the clock info - worked like a charm.

I would love to get involved Richard but sadly I just don't have enough time to get into things - my knowledge of what goes on under the hood in Android is pretty slim and whilst I would really enjoy getting up to speed on coding it would take way too much time.

Iceman, it sounds like you are trying the same one I did (after initially trying the wrong one) - the direct link for it is this http://android.modaco.com/index.php?act=at...st&id=67520.

Did you wipe Dalvik Cache before installing the theme?

Hi, i have several problems with last version.

First i couldnt flash the Zeam launcher, in recovery all went Ok but when the telephone boots there is simply no launcher at all. Had to flash ADW

Second, i downloaded Gmail from market . Download was OK. After that i have tried to download AK notepad and linda file manager, both downloads try to start but then nothing happened, no error, no message, nothing... Of course applications are not installed. Since i do not have a file explorer i cant install the apks i have in the SD card.

Another clue, the progress bar that shows the download percentage shows but nevers fills in, not a bit, so apparently the error appears before the actual download process is started.

Please help, i do not want to go back to my back up image, is was really, really slow (i even got some miss calls due my phone did not responded when ringing)

UPDATE: Problem 2 "fixed" in fact i dont know why but suddenly downloads started to work again.

ok no problem

In no way am I ignoring you, I commented in the modifications.txt, about a minute or so ago you edited the files so I dunno if you got them or not

what do you hope to achieve by having the camera reset each time, will this fix the camera issue I added the new build.prop to the rom and it still force closes after 3 camera takes but when I open it back up it then says that it can not connect the camera, before it would just force close

The lcd density change to 140 wasnt just chosen by me but by others as well, I created a poll asking whether to have it at the 160 or 140 which makes it look for more clearer and the majority chose 140

The libsurfaceflinger_client and the egl file that you put in your folder was already in the alpha rom

All changes that I or antoniopt make gets documented in the Tasks.xls, maybe its best if you add your changes there as well and also other things you plan to do

The problem with the bluetooth is with the automatic generating pairing code when you wan't to pair it with some devices.

Like windows PC or some handset devices.

Also try to play a bit with ro.config.hwcameraset=19

set it lower and higher!

I just hope so this could help somehow!

Also I just Can't find where did I put my scripts on my pc that I made few days ago.

I'll just have to rewrite them again.

It'll check wheter you have swap partition or not.

And if you do it'll swapon /dev/block/mmcblk0p3

And if it is not?

It'll check the free space on your sdcard and depending of the freespace it'll kreate swap file and swapon!

this will happen during boot time!

in /system/etc/init.d/

hi I installed the v6b4 beta of this rom then I flashed the gingerbread launcher and the Gapps UPDATED.

the rom looked great and very smooth..only problem is whenever i try to install an app from the market the phone restarts first I thought it had something to do with the kernal so I flashed the 691mhz by starkos and it didn't fix the problem..

did this happen to anyone else or did I do something wrong ?

I add something new in dropbox.

Open the folder that I created.

But first read the Modiffications.txt file.
