Can you tell me the system partition size that the uk sp1 update is, with the next update I will try and aim to keep it under that size then edit: nvm im updating to it as we speak edit its stopped at the end, I assume it has finished, nice how they changed it from actually telling us when your allowed to restart to not telling us at all with this update so new users end up freaking out over it ;) ok just taken out the battery and put it back in, looks like it did finish Edited January 30, 2011 by Richard_Arkless
Guest PhoenixPunk Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 @richard, do you maybe have a solution 'bout the in-call volume? i'm think the problem is in some tweaks or the dialling app...
Guest Richard_Arkless Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 (edited) @richard, do you maybe have a solution 'bout the in-call volume? i'm think the problem is in some tweaks or the dialling app... no not yet lol the link you quoted earlier on is a 1.5 update ;) seems so. They brought out another 2.1 one which doesn't work, the same probleme exists with the german update. So where is this updated 2.1 ;) Edited January 30, 2011 by Richard_Arkless
Guest eckengucker1 Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 (edited) ups ;) my fault ^^ Its a good question, Ive no idea where Ive downloaded the file. All I can say is, that it is working now... According to my download log it could be this file: http://www.t-mobile.de/downloads/neu/pulse...roide_21_sw.zip Edited January 30, 2011 by eckengucker1

Guest eckengucker1 Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 That was the first one I flashed but it wasn't working for me (I guess). I couldn't get a2sd working. Over the last 3 days I tried different updates but couldn't it be the 1.5 update I flashed and installed 2.2 over it?

Yea it is most likely that you did flash the official 1.5 then flashed this over it, I did manage to get the tmobile de update working on mine but the system partition size is 88mb which I dont think will be possible especially with cyanogenmod Edited January 30, 2011 by Richard_Arkless
Guest eckengucker1 Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 And once more Myth busters were successfully ;)
Guest Poseidonhun Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 The v6 version is working for me, but I dont get any fps increase.
Guest Richard_Arkless Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 The v6 version is working for me, but I dont get any fps increase. to be honest neither did I but I guess it doesnt really matter, what does matter however is being on the latest opengl driver
Guest dadme Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 I'll upload the nand backup in about 30 minutes. Only pure Android. No paid apps, no Gapps, no any other apps installed on it. Just some scripts, twaeks and etc. I know that I don't have ane special permissions to share any of the apps downloaded from marked, so I won't. And just to let you know. If you have a ext partition it'll move the apps and app-private there, and if not? It'll create .a2sd hidden folder in the sdcard, and move the app and app-private folders in there and then create symlinks in /data. About the swap? By default it'll check if you have swap partition and activate it, with swappy 45%. And if not? Then it'll check the sdcard freespace, and depending of it, it'll create a .swapfile in /sdcard and activate it with swappy 45%. Regarding to lowmemomry killer? Well, this is the bigest tweak i made. I aint gonna let you know what I did! You will have to learn it alone. The kernel is the 710MHZ oc But don't worry. Simply read the README.txt file. First please give me about 30mins. to set my phone first and make the nand backup. and then upload it. Best regards TOTI Waiting.....24 hours. Any news?
Guest Poseidonhun Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 (edited) to be honest neither did I but I guess it doesnt really matter, what does matter however is being on the latest opengl driver Yes yes. Guest totiadrenalin Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 (edited) Yes yes. You are right. Anyway you and the team did a great job! ;) Ok. I was thinking alot about, is it good to upload a nandroid backup, or u uyafs the system.boot, and upload it as a zip file! But I'll upload the nand backup anyway. And Richard! To be honest. I just try your v6 rom, and a lot of things are missing there. First, the Gallery app isn't working proterly. Second, some things in build.prob aren't correct. And etc. I just remove all of the nonstock apps from my phone and I'm making the backup right now. I'll upload it as backup, and also unyafs the system.img, and upload it. I love your work very much, but to be honest your last rom isn't much better then v5. We are in the same tim, aren't we?! Edit: Sorry, but I get some fatal errors with my scripts. Need some time to figureotu what's wrong. When I move the apps to /sdcard/.a2sd/ I get BootLoop. If you wan't me I can upload a backup without my costum a2sd scripts. Best regards TOTI Edited January 30, 2011 by totiadrenalin

Best regards TOTI the reason why a lot of things are missing is because me and antoniopt are starting at the beginning and I wanted to rush it out of the door and just start afresh and have it a community rom from the beginning where each thing we add gets decided, etc, now were using github to develop it, antoniopt did mention it a couple of pages ago but in case you didnt get it, you will need to send him your github username and he will add you as a contriber and give you all the details you need to set it all up the gallery that you uploaded to the dropbox has the landscape issue so it was either stick with the version that does work for me or use the version that has the issue the build.prop that is in the v6 rom is the same as the one which you uploaded except I removed these ro.config.hwfeature_gps_test=0 ro.camera.sound.forced=1 ro.config.hw_temperature_warn=true ro.config.hw_noAccountUnlock=true ro.config.KeyPassToUser=true ro.config.hw_bt_connectionIcon=true ro.config.hw_addmmdatabase=external-hw ro.config.hwcameraset=19 ro.config.hw_new_wifitopdp=0 ro.config.lowbattery_shutdown=1 ro.config.hwfeature_wakeupkey=1 ro.config.endkeybehavior=true ro.config.hw_boot_animation=1 ro.product.multi_touch_enabled=true ro.config.hw_appwidget_platform=1 ro.config.hw_omacp=0 ro.config.hwfeature_earphone=1 ro.config.hwfeature_enableScreenOn=1 as one of these breaks the camera, of course I could have found out which one but like I said I was in a rush to release it Of course if yours is better then I will release it as v7 and put all the changes that you have made in the changelog and give you all the glory Edited January 31, 2011 by Richard_Arkless

But what I am confused about now is what exactly are you starting with and what each of the changes you have already made are. Is there a detailed log somewhere of what is happening? I'd love to see that. And thanks to the whole team who are working on this. And Toti, please be understanding of the decisions not to immediately add each of your latest ideas/hacks/solutions to the mix. You have to admit that sometimes it turns out that those "improvements" cause other unforeseen problems. And there is no way of knowing that until some fairly significant testing is done. Sometimes you are tweaking some fairly significant stuff (lower level) and it's hard to know what the ultimate results will be. And for some of us, "stability" is of extremely high value, even superseding the ability to play the latest game. ;) But I believe all of us appreciate your hard work and contributions, so please keep them coming. And for whatever reason, I can't get any 710 kernel to work on my phone. So even when I'm testing a rom for myself, I never can be sure it will work for others. But it's all good fun! ;)

Guest jrodrigues Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 (edited) Hi guys, I wanted to say I love this rom... However, in this last version I lost 3G connection... I had to go back to the previous version... Any idea on why this happened? By the way, can anybody send me a link to the previous version's files? I want to do a full wipe of the phone, bu I no longer have the ROM files. Edited January 31, 2011 by jrodrigues

But it's all good fun! ;) we are currently using 0.40 beta of tom's rom but we are planning (more I as it is a personal goal) to port the current stable version of cyanogenmod to the pulse and use that as the base, so far I got it past the android text logo (which means the libs used in the 0.40 still works here) but as soon as it reaches the graphical bootanimation then it loops, I think its got something to do with the framework It will be a vanilla experience so will be grey and have none of my transitions, antoniopt put the link to the github which we are using so keep track there Edited January 31, 2011 by Richard_Arkless
