Guest totiadrenalin
Here is the link of the rom Now! But stil buloading! You will have to wait about 40 minutes untill the rom uppiers in dropbox! Best regards TOTI CM6_Gingerstyle_b1 And because I forgot the superuser permissions once again flash this to! EDIT: For some strange reason my tweak over dta2sd didn't work. So the only different is that it won't move the dalvik-cache to sd-ext But still everything I wrote in my previews post is still the same! The rom works perfect even without full wipe! So Hooray! 20 minutes left READY TO ROCK. Best regards TOTI Edited February 8, 2011 by totiadrenalin

Guest twrock
Toti, I tried this patch, but the phone was very unstable and the telephone app crashed while receiving calls. Without this and swappiness at 20 my phone is much smoother. (This is regarding the lowmem patch that Toti made.) I would not have thought there was any connection between what happened last night and Toti's patch, but I had the same experience with a crash (reboot) right when I tried to receive a call. So maybe the patch is the problem, but I can't see any logical reason that is true. The patch is too simple. It does nothing more that slightly adjusts the lowmem settings. However, there is more to this than meets the eye. I'm going to do a bunch more testing over the next couple of evenings. But at least everything that Toti wrote so far has been helpful for my understanding and for coming up with ideas on where to look and what to do to test things. Simply put, it does seem like there is something going on with DT Apps2SD after making any change to the lowmem setting that causes things to behave differently. It "seems" that once I use any lowmem setting, there is no going back to the original memory management (which for some reason seems "more-optimal" to me). But that's a lot of speculation on my part, and will require a lot more investigation. (And a whole lot more reboots and even rom flashes.) :P

Guest david.b
Hello, after a really conclusive test of this rom, I think it's best for our phones.(u8230) There are still some bugs, such as: - Camera after 3 pictures. - The GPS icon stays on after stopping Map. - The backlight of the bottom does not work. (works with CM61-rom Pulse0.40-f0.3). Bravo very good job, a big step forward. Sorry for my English ...

Guest totiadrenalin
Will the screen density be 140 or 160? I'll include a srcipt in my next release today for changing the screen density between 140 and 160 from the terminal. with one simple command screen140 or screen160. Best regards\. If I found some more time today I'll try to fix the frontfacing buttons lights issue. And about the camera! Did anybody notice that we have 6 bugs with the camera?!!!!! 1. No front camera 2. FC after taking more than 3 pictures 3. Missing line of Pixels in the pictures. 4. Buggy autofocus 5. Missing x1 optical zoom 6. Missing x5 digital zoom And you are talking only for one bug. And the reason of this bugs aren't because of Camera.apk, but the libcamera.so and libcameraservice.com, and missing libcamera_client.so. So, if you wan't me to fix those bugs, somebody will have to post me the link of the original CM6 source that TOM G was using to build thios rom. Until than there is absolutely no chance to fix it! Guest avenn
First of all thank you Richard_Arkless, totiadrenalin, AntonioPT, twrock, and all the other contributors that made this ROM possible. What has been done with these ROM's is pretty amazing for the pulse. My phone is faster and more responsive then ever. And the additional space thanks to the moved apps and dalvik via dta2sd is just mind blowing. Now I have a problem that (if possible) I would love to get rid of and maybe one of you guys know a solution. One/two times by day when using the phone I get a message pop up with the text you will see below here. If I have ADW installed it will say that message about ADW, if I have Launcher pro installed it will say that message about Launcher pro. Sometimes I get the message also about RepliGo Reader (PDF) when i'm using it, but I guess because it takes time and performance to load a full PDF file. ------ ! Sorry Activity Launcher pro (in application launcherpro) is not responding. FORCE CLOSE - WAIT ------ I had this exact same thing pop up on AIO V6, AIO v7(the first one from last week), with and without dta2sd and/or swap activated, before installing any apps and after installing apps, with a 1GB standard SD and a 8GB class 6 SD, directly after a reboot and/or after a day of using the phone. I always tap on 'WAIT' and when I do that everything keeps working fine. But it is just a hassle of seeing that stuff pop up a few times by day. Maybe there is a way to fix it, or to change some settings that it will take a longer time (more seconds) before the pop-up pops up. Like this it waits basically automatically., maybe there is an app that could help with it. I did extensive search on this before putting this post up, but i did not find a solution. I have not tried the 691Mhz kernel as I thought it would not fix this. If you think however it would fix it let me know please. Big thanks for your help and insights! Guest Cristian Menghi
Greetings all, I am with the v6 and it works great, I had to setup to 691Mhz to make it work stable. The only problem at the moments is when incoming call enter ring one time and then continues vibrating. Any ideas ? thanks

I believe that is the only thing you need to compile a CM rom. Download the sources, modify them and compile it using his device config. No! Only CM7 and CM6 libaudio and liblights the compcache Module and some dhcp onf That's all I could find useful in there. It's not the full source! And I'm sorry but I couldn't find free time to write the script. I know that I'm working with big delay, but I'm so busy, that I don't have even time to eat on time! I really need some help. Antonio. Did you get and understand my msg? And if yes did you had some time to play with that? Tomorow I'll try to remove this dta2sd and add a2sd-2.7-update3r1 I hope so that they have fix the bugs. Guest totiadrenalin
Tomorrow I'll make a new thread. But for now I'm posting the link with 2 roms. One with density=160 and other with density=140 Both have the new dta2sd included. I didn't have the time to test it. CM6_Gingersyle_b1-140.zip And CM6_Gingersyle_b1-160.zip Both with the 691mhz kernel (Starkos). Because someone are reporting reboot to recovery, and bootloop with any other kernel. They are still uploading! And about the bootloops when making calls, after applying my lowmem-killer script? Well, as I could see in logcat it was caused by dta2sd. So I'm simply hoping that the new one won't cause that problem. Best regards TOTI Edited February 9, 2011 by totiadrenalin
