Guest mixlis Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 If you think Rooting Froyo is a bit complicated, or having hard time Root your Android Froyo device then you can blessed by XDA forum member RyanZA who created for you his rooting app z4root. With a single button on z4root App you can easily Root Android 2.2 Devices. just install the z4root App.apk on your Android and use the Root Button. According to Developer z4root App should work with all Android Devices and 100% safe and that nothing on disk is changed besides the root binaries. If something goes wrong, a simple reboot should fix up any issue. As it still in testing z4root App is available in Android Market. You can Download z4root App from the link below. If it Doesn’t work for you leave comment or find more info at xda. Works for gt540 Optimus

Guest kaiserex Posted November 13, 2010 Report Posted November 13, 2010 Its working for GT540! Even dough I had to shutdown and power up the system cos even dough the app warned me to enable USB debugging mode it didnt recognize it as enabled so shutdown-power on solved it.
Guest weedy Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 Just to say thanx, it worked perfectly for my GT540 B)
Guest soulclaimed Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 do i need to wipe my fone first as I have a lot of songs etc on their and pics etc and once rotted can i use apps2sd?
Guest Carbonize Posted November 25, 2010 Report Posted November 25, 2010 Bit pointless copying the text straight from the devs site given he keeps referring to Froyo and the GT540 only goes up to Eclair. Also no need for the stupidly large screen shot. Other than that this works as advertised.
Guest EthM Posted November 25, 2010 Report Posted November 25, 2010 Carphone Warehouse 2.1 here and this worked a treat. Phone is now rooted and I've installed adfree and root explorer and they are working fine. \o/
