Can't decide which ROM to use?

Hi there, I have Omnia 2 with WM 6.5

I'm now planning to use a custom ROM (for the first time) but can't decide which one to use?

I'm looking for a ROM which is an eye candy but is still smooth and has lots of memory and without the default unuseful samsung apps. I dont get online very often that is why i cant do a lot of research about custom ROMS out there. Now, I'm choosing between an Energy ROM and Noobody & rapid's sense ROM but still want to know more about the other ROMs out there.

Any suggestion guys?

I tried the Energy ROM. With a few tweaks you gain about 40-50mb free ram, but without has my memory lowered down to 15-20mb :S hope the new version will be better.... Wanted to try the sense ROM from speedfrog but i cant download it.

BTW what is the latest official ROM now ? (link pls, tnx)

So ive flashed the custom ROM only with .nbo but as far as i understand now, if a flash my phone with a custom ROM(there is only nbo), can i choose any csc(or any other part) i want to flash beside?

just use energy roms.. it fits all your requirements..

Rapids rom uses manilla 2012 which imo is not as fast as 2018.. but rapids rom is the most stable other than twu2 lite roms..

or if you can read chinese, the roms at kingmobi are of excellent grade..

Maybe stupid question, but anyway :rolleyes: . This ROM Energy which I was also looking for next ROM on my cellfone is using SPB or not?

Guys i need your help. When i was about to flash this wonderful ROM, Octans mini does not detect my omnia 2. It is said in the flashing guide to turn off the phone so i turned it off. When i connected the phone to the pc after starting octans mini, the new hardware found wizard pops up. I chose recommended settings and even tried the search the internet for drivers but it said that it did not search for anything. take note that i installed the samsung cdma modem 4_1_.34 before starting octans mini.

I have tried most of the ROMS, I recommend nOObody and Rapid Sense 2.5 ROM

After installed the ROM, install CHTEditor, Co0kie Home tab and Disabling the Samsung dialer (from the tweaks) then you are good to go.

Disable Samsung dialer will release more RAM, there are no doubt other ways to get back more RAM but for

this ROM, that was all I needed to do to, quick and easy if you dont need to use MMS.

Beautiful ROM, stable and it leaves enough memory for programs.
