Bluetooth issues

Hi, newbie to website and newbie to Windows phone. Perhaps a dullard question but...

trying to use bluetooth...

can't change my phone's name

can't find any way to send pics etc to another device

can't sync with my hubby's Sony Ericsson Satio - says it's 'not supported'

anyone got any advice?
