now its giving me insuffcient storage available when i try to install from market evenif i wipe out all partitions..?? but if i install from sd its ok??

Edit: its for only one apps batteryminder and other are fine! let me try again

edit:yeap its only for that app i am having problem..:unsure: now last.fm too have same problem

Strange.. both apps install ok. I think you may have accidentally broken the permissions folder. May have to flash again.

Works very good for me. my device is one of the first San Francisco UK versions (Grey OLED). The only problem so far is that Gallery does not load all pictures form the memory card, just stays in "loading" status e.g. shows some pics justs stays loading. I found this when I tried to set custom wallpaper from picture.

Delete the Android and albumthumbs folders from the SD card if they are present then reboot the phone. Try loading the images again.

Yep, this did the job. I tough I only need to flush settings to "factory".

Great work with r5a.

Just a thing i have noticed.

All your roms dont allow people to choose sms notification sounds, even when you're downloading a tune from zedge or other 3rd party app.

Simply we cant set a sound a sms notification.

I remember that MCR has this option.

Any special reason to? Just would love to differ from the sms notification from other system event notifications (as email).

Hi I installed the r5 ROM yesterday & everything worked great, then today I decided to install the Gingerbread theme which looked nice but after not long after I installed it I was unable to use Titanium backup for some strange reason (I was able to use it before I installed the theme).

This ROM is absolutely superb. I was using Paul's Alpha 3 before, but this works so much better. Seems much more responsive and the battery life has almost doubled since I changed!

I'm just having some issues with the proximity sensor in my two blades... anyone else has this problem?sometimes it won't turn the screen off while making or receiving a call.It's a random issue,I can't understand why B)

Quite a few people have encountered this problem. The following process seems to work on most phones:

Go into the Dialer an press *983*0#

Scroll all the way down to Sensors.

Hit "testing light" and then hit "testing proximity" and "calibrate".

I have a feeling that I may have calibrated both the light and the proximity sensors and confirm that this worked for my girlfriend's faulty SF. Others have reported similar success so give it a try!

Installed this ROM and so far so good. All working smoothly :unsure: including the A2SD (tested with Quick System Info, it shows the space available. Tried by installing a new app, and the A2SD storage space was lowered while the internal space available remained the same). Keep up the good work FlibbleSan!

On the Japanese setup you need Emode.apk and you have to dial *ZTE*OPENEM# first before you can access the main dialler codes.

Ah ok.. I'm using the Japanese dialer so I'll try adding Emode

OK to enable this on FLB-Froyo r5 flash this update: flb_testmode.zip

then dial *983*673636# (which is *ZTE*OPENEM# )

then *983*0#

Scroll to the bottom and select Sensors.

Select "Testing light" and then "testing proximity" and press "calibrate". This will allow you to 1) test the proximity works and 2) calibrate it.

I will add the engineering menu to FLB-Froyo r6

Would you consider increasing the size of the data partition in R6? My SF is perilously close to full in spite of making full used of Froyo's app2sd feature.

Sorry if this has been said already , but i'm having issues with the touchpal keyboard and the market seems to be crawling along . Very hard to scroll up and down the page . Other than that it seems fine :unsure:

Haven't tested other 2.2 ROMS but haven't had any freeze issues with this one till now. I have the TFT version.

Only the Email app crashes. no problems apart from that, This is a small issue as the Gmail app works fine and i use K9 for other mails.

talk signed in perfectly as did gmail and the market and I was able to download from the market

However last last night I wanted to download things from the market and it flashed up the downloading arrow for a second and then stoppedm went back to the market and it was like I never selected it in the first place, so downloaed it again, accepted the permissions and again the download arrow flashed in the taskbar for a second before dissapearing and nothing

went back to the market and its like I never selected it, usually when you select an item twice it will say item is downloading or being or will be downloaded but this time it doesnt.

Thought I'll play safe wiped delvic cache and also done the factory rest in clockwork and flashed the rom again this morning

and exactly the same thing

The only thing I can say for certain is it was working fine and once I restarted th ephone it started playing up and not downloading again

Its really annoying as I like the rom

Anyone else getting anything similar or know how to fix it?

hi i have been running version r3, only update i've done since getting the phone and so far its been great but noticed when i try to play videos in hardware mode they play in black and white, just wondering if this was fixed in one of the r4/r5 changes?

Re r5a after restarting a 3rd time it now won'r sign into google talk as well as not being able to download from the market, and the market not even recognising I made a download request

I tried the "usual fix" for this of changing my gmail addy from @gmail.com to @googlemail.com and it still dont work

yet it did when I first installed the rom

You need to resize the partitions yourself at your own risk. Plenty of guides for doing this.

Not seen this myself yet. Has anybody else experiencing the same issue? I have noticed that a user of the Jellyfish ROM has this same issue too.
