How can I revert to stock so I can update to Froyo? Or only update baseband?

The latest Froyo updates restrict the devices that can be flashed.

I only want to update my baseband even if I can't flash the ROM.

Anyone with knowledge of this?

A bin file was never provided for Rogers or Fido Eclair. The update using the sd card seems to be blocked with an assert?

Edit: Found it, it's post eleven of this thread: http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...-e-rom-upgrade/

There is a thread on this forum which contains the necessary downloads and proper instructions on how to return a rogers device to stock. If I can find it, I will link to it.
