Flashlite working with stock android 2.1

You'll have to read up on use of adb.

it's something like

adb mount /system -remount,rw

adb put file.so /system/lib/file.so

(repeat for next one)

adb mount /system -remount,ro

Thanks for the info, could someone post the list of commands required to do the job via a terminal program on the phone? (Flash lite on 2.1)

I had to install BusyBox but after that i just cd'd to sdcard (cd sdcard) where my .so files were and then

su

busybox cp *.so /system/lib/

I managed to move them to the correct folder but never got it working :lol: .

it's for 2.1 not 2.2

Thanks again for the upload but it didn't work in 2.2 Froyo....shame, upgrade from 2.1 with working flash to 2.2 with no more flash... :lol:

can you please explain how you got Flash working in 2.1?

did you use the Flash lite plugin (above) and then use skyfire?

Install Flashlite from download link on the first page in the first post, copy the *.so files to the lib directory and hey presto :lol: it's working...

And no you don't need any funny browsers after that, any browser including the standard android browser will play flash...
