Presumably, if we have a working clockwordmod recovery (the test version) then we don't need to put this on?

I'm struggling with getting this to work in linux. I just get the message "fastboot-linux: command not found"

Try with "fastboot" instead of "fastboot-linux".

If it returns the same error, download fastboot from here, make it executable ( @ the console: chmod +x fastboot ), copy the recovery file to the same directory as fastboot and finally:

./fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.2-ace-modaco-r1.img

What does Paul mean when he say "You will need the ENG HBOOT installed on your device to flash this recovery!"

I have another issue with the captcha , i don't understand what I have to say for the good response

thanks in advance for your great job

I'm not familiar with the changes needed for it, and I don't have a PS3. So, i'm unlikely to do it. B)

P

Have you put the vendor tree on github?

I make the psfMod editions of clockwork (the ones with psfreedom added)

Full source for needed changes is on github.com/klutsh, so feel free to add it to your recovery, I will be posting a full guide very soon of what exactly needs editing.

I'm not an expert, but aren't you missing a 'recovery' in between 'flash' and the img name?

It should be -

fastboot-windows flash recovery recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.2-ace-modaco-r1.img

...I think

That is music to my ears Klutsh!

Been looking for a guide to do this since I upgraded from my HTC Hero to the HTC Desire Z a few days ago. Great work on psfmod btw B)

What's Eng H-boot and how do I get it?

When I boot into recovery it says:

ACE PVT SHIP S-ON

HBOOT-0.85.0007

MICROP-0438

RADIO-26.03.02.26_M

eMMC-boot

Can I run the CWM?

From Post #12

Doesn't having ROOT imply S-OFF?

I have SU via VISIONary v12 and can run titanium backup and Clockwork ROM Manager...do I still need ENG HBOOT?

Ever so slightly confused but not wanting an expensive paperweight B)

Yes Paul please check that source :)

Would be so great to see the PSFreedom code by Klutsh in your image. B)

The reason the 'adb shell mount /sdcard' etc. mounts aren't working is because the /etc/fstab isn't being generated correctly.

Investigating...
