Guest Martin To Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 Been trying to get this work work but right until I get to the end it juts errors and says failed to create the account. Please try again later I already have exchange mails from work on my phone but I have removed this and make no difference The settings I used for push hotmail are by adding it as an exchange service and details are: Email: [email protected] or [email protected] Server Address: m.hotmail.com SSL: Enabled Username: [email protected] Password: password Domain: (Leave it Blank) But still no luck Anyone confirm they have manage to add hotmail or know where I have gone wrong? Cheers

Guest Daz555 Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 There is a 3rd party hotmail app in the market IIRC. Give it a whirl.

The exchange method is better as it is real time push and syncs everything else along with it.
Guest dr.m0x Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Same problem here. Works perfectly on AOSP mail client but for some reason the HTC mail client suffers from retardation.

Guest Scott Ricketts Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 This has been the case on all of HTC's Froyo releases. They're aware of the issue but don't seem interested in fixing it. No one, to my knowledge has found a fix for this, other than installing the vanilla email client and using it instead.
