ClockWorkMod Recovery: "signature verification failed"

I try to install the Stock Froyo Image with ClockWorkMod:

I did android backup,

I did a cache wipe and data wipe,

but when trying "Apply sdcard:update.zip" to the Stock Image (renamed to update.zip) it prints on screen:

-- Install from sdcard...

Finding update package...

Opening update package...

Verifying update package...

E:signature verification failed, Installation aborted.

Can anyone advise?

Or I might try to Flash it from the PC - the "old way"... I saw some users had to Flash the Kitchen Froyo by the "old way"

When you bake the Stock Rom in the Kitchen: Have you tick the Box "Sign update zip" on the bottom? Maybe this is the issue.

Otherwise I would try the "old way" B)
