Guest vanisleguy1976 Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 your attitude dose not help here, consider this message as a warning. December 9: User amperman is banned. Device(s): nuke missile December 10: New user Varyik joins Device(s): torpedo tubes Anyone else fund this timing to be "convenient"? When a user is banned, is their profile merely turned off for the period of the ban, or is the ip address blocked? Just curious. It just seems suspicious to me that a new hostile user appears the day after another hostile user was banned. That is all I have to say about this. I will now start to ignore hostile users and maybe they'll go away.
Guest cured Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 I think we should stop fighting, and focus on topic. Noxwell, any news? If Noxwell made the driver, you put it in your ROM?
Guest Delnar_Ersike Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 (edited) If Noxwell made the driver, you put it in your ROM? Indeed, this is usually the way things work. Many people who develop different parts of the kernel have absolutely no interest in making their code non-open-source and/or developing ROMs for the sole purpose of using their custom kernels (it isn't true the other way around, however). For example, phhusson did a lot of work on his custom kernels, but only released and maintained one ROM AFAIK (the FRF one). Despite this, phhusson's overclocked kernel and TS fix were and still are included in countless ROMs, so I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened with Noxwell's touchscreen driver. Of course, should Noxwell prohibit the use of his code in ROMs other than one he made, the other ROM developers will oblige... probably not happily, but they would still oblige. Guest isshah Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 New google maps 5.0 released download and such a disappointment can't do the 3d view due to our multi-touch bug. Friends nexus one does the same thing sucks please make some strides on getting the touch at least enough to halfway use the 3d view.

Guest Morris Lee Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 knotts has answered your OT question, but he pressed report botton instead of reply botton :D so i just post it here " OT means Off Topic". P.S. mode or mod? :) i'll take it as compliment ;) thank you and enjoy your stay. AHHA, oops, yeah, suppose to type mod, but mode came out, either a typo on my liquid or the auto complete, I am on my computer now, I can type easier, XD
Guest vanisleguy1976 Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 I was gonna say the same, you beat me to it haha When I double drag down the map, it starts to move a little towards the 3D perspective... Is it supposed to go right down to street view?

Is it supposed to go right down to street view? It is suppose to be just like that, I tried it on my bro's galaxy, he is still on 2.1, poor him, and he can't do the rotation at all. but he can tilt as much as I can. Tip for you for pinch zoom, put down the 2 fingers slightly wider than usual, for for about half a second before you actually pinch or spread your fingers, that should give you a more stable pinch zooming - for now! noxwell, we need you!! I can't think of how Google is gonna solve this problem on the Nexus One. Guest koudelka Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 I seriously need help on this too lol. I can't think of how Google is gonna solve this problem on the Nexus One. How do you do rotations on that thing? And 3D didn't appear on mine :S 3D is just in some select places at the moment, they don't have a complete 3D map of the world (yet). Double finger to tilt into 3D works great for me, but I have not managed to get rotation to work :/ possibly due to the bad touch sensor on the liquid. Compass mode works great and is really cool :)
Guest wytek Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 yep i agree koud, but if i'm not wrong i heard that for the nexus one and some other devices there is the problem with finger rotation O.o
Guest Morris Lee Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 Can we just disable the 2 finger rotation? Because I think it is rather useless anyway
Guest ololo12345 Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 heeey, noxwelle? are u okay? :)
Guest ololo12345 Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 U made BANG and disappeared. Very sad :(
Guest Morris Lee Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 Not sure if anyone notice this but I wanted to try the ma rotation on phh's driver from roggin's rom but they seem to disable the rotation all together on CM
Guest split2th Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 I know someone is gonna tell me to read this whole thread. But I've already read the majority of this forum and I just want to know one thing. Does this fix improve gaming at all? I can live with most of the touchscreen quirks, but there are games I want to play that need multitouch. Please don't be mad, a single person can only read so much in his lifetime, lol.
Guest fear_factory84 Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 does anyone has tried this fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=880447 adding multitouch distrinct permission. It has enabled google maps rotation for me, but it's not reliable, it jumps. I have not the alpha fixed driver...
