I have tried to show TVCatchup, but there was a long delay in the sound.

Thanks for coming back so quick. I'm a complete newbie to android so I haven't got a clue... how easy would it be to do?

Think I might return mine, one of the reasons I wanted it was for pdf reading in portrait mode, but the viewing angles in portrait are pretty bad so I ended up with a headache after 10 minutes.

I had the same issue with the Tosh Folio and it went back :)

I looked at the Vega screen and it seemed to be better than the folio.

Dug deep and got a Galaxy Tab for £455 - superb B)

Just a few tweaks to the Adobe Android Reader short of perfection! :)

gonna return my vega to PCworld today.

I wanted it to replace the netbook in the living room, but the mrs plays facebooks games and they dont appear to work on the android tablet and i can really justify keeping both

hope PC worlds returns policy is decent

i'd say that's not too bad at all. bbc was a little out of sync but that could be a mix of allsorts doing that

i have 2 wifi points at home and i can see them, enter the passwords etc but for both it just says "obtaining IP address) and never logs on.

i have even taken it down the road to mcdonalds free wifi zone to check and the same, though my iphone and blackberry both see and connect fine to all.

do i have a broken vega?

i hope not... i was the OP on HDUK when they went live on friday, got it on tuesday and now i cant bloomin' use it.

also, the box came to me all bashed and squashed at the corners.

looking at the internal packaging the unit itself seems undamaged and ok, but the box is tatty..anyone else have this problem?

Best take it into a store tomorrow when they have stock and get it swapped (if they do that) otherwise get it sent back for a replacement. Damage to the box is unacceptable in my opinion, could have any number of consequences.

Took my Vega off charge at 7.30am, used occasionally, web browsing, wifi, twitter etc (not a great deal to be honest) and after 7 hours it is showing 83% battery remaining. That, you have to say, is very good!

I know! My Vega could teach my Desire a few a tricks about battery life! Of course my Desire is doing a hell of a lot more than my Vega for the majority of the day and has a much smaller capacity battery... but still! Go Vega!

4od would be good, as well as those others have suggested. The desktop version of iplayer would be interesting.

And can it handle hd flash videos?

Edit: see you already did iplayer desktop version and looks pretty good. Looked pretty much sync in the video, though i am watching on my desire which has its own problems playing things in sync. Having seen it in person how would you describe it? Perfect or a little out?

Just a thought, has anybody tried playing media off a USB stick plugged into the Vega?
