1.3.1 was release a couple of hours after DJ released 1.4.6...I don't think he had a chance or would have wanted to post such a new release.

I personally flashed to 1.4.6 when it was released and immediately flashed to 1.3.1.

1.3.1 had some serious FC issues...

1.3.2 I can confirm is a solid release. Haven't had any issues.

Because I've never tried ADW before 1.4.6, so I just wanted tho check the version and saw that 1.3.2 is up, so I thought that 1.2.0 is very old :P

I have a question for DJSteve....

My icons on my notification bar are greyscale. Like the wifi, H, 3G, reception bars, ect.

But when I look in the /framework/res/drawable-hdpi folder the icons are in color...?

How do I get these color ones to load...???

goto your video size, 720p is enable now. just select it.

It took a little while to get used to the black status bar, but I did come to like it. Took much less time to enjoy and prefer the latest white bar... Much cleaner and clearer. I love it!

The facebook-Widget doesn't work. I don't see there any messages, but I can write and read this on the PC. I don't can add the facebook-profile under settings to sync the Data with my contacts.

USB-Tethering doesn't work with aptosid Linux.

Change the fonts then.

Rename the fonts in /system/fonts from .Bak to the original

Fur Ubuntu font doesn't support Unicode by the look of things

This is nuts I have tried 5 .img files now and it will not boot to clock mod please is there some definative method to get me from 11548 to 1.46 I have lost so much functionality from this phone and i'm close to throwining it at the wall

You have to first install the alternative boot image via fastboot and install the 1.1.1 zip file http://build2.streakdroid.com/update-release-1.1.1.zip

One then has to do a factory reset.

Do not change the baseband before that! I initially followed this thread (there are 3 announcement threads...): http://android.modaco.com/content/dell-str...1-2-0-released/ and ended up soft-bricking by doing a factory reset at the wrong step (after 1.2.0). Luckily, one can simply use a microSD reader or second streak to put the 1.1.1 zip on the SD card if stuck at that step.

So the steps are coming from 2.1:

• New recovery image (attached) - only this image worked for my original black Dell Streak that was locked to ATT: post number #27 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...4563&page=3 , flash with “fastboot -i 0x413c flash recovery recovery.clockworkmod.img”
  
• 1.1.1 first "(You cant jump to 1.2 straight from your Android 2.1 . . . . . U need 2 be on 1.1.1 then update it to 1.2 . . . . Link for 1.1.1 is at #post 2700 in this link http://android.modaco.com/content-page/319...ased/page/2680/ at: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1449027/+560)"
  
• factory reset when stuck after double reboot past animated Dell logo 1.1.1

• can go straight to 1.4.6 after that
  
• camera fix if desired: "if you have NOT already flashed the dell 2.2 pkg or my 720p fix you need this to fix 720p video - otherwise ignore

I aged 10 years today. Soft bricked my wife's loved Dell at least 4 times, pulled my hair about not having written down the steps on my own streak which I upgraded early on. The web is such a living thing that things change by the minute... Now I have all files saved in my Dropbox and the steps written out...

HOWEVER, while that sounds scary it was fun and Steve and the other hackers did an amazing job. I still can't believe he is only 24 and has the skills, team building talent and discipline to pull this off. My wife is so thrilled that she is donating $50 (making it our 4th donation: we must feed Steve to fence off any "hostile takeover" by Dell! *grin*). Thank you Steve! We love you!

Just updated from 1.2.0 to 1.4.6, first boot took about 5 minutes-ish, but booted in fine without having to factory reset, all settings still there!

Internet was very slow, so rebooted to apply Fards data tweaks or whatever like it says to do, internet now fastest it's been since 2.1 (I had very slow internet on 1.2.0 and constant HTTP request interrupted pages)...

Just wondering, where's the H icon gone? :s and why no black theme?

And also, for us noobs at overclocked, do we just boot up setCPU and raise the max freq or is there some specific settings we need to put in to OC?

So you are getting a proper confirmation after flashing with "done"? What streak do you have, what os, what fastboot and what android, java? Not sure whether that matters....

I have gone from o2 1.6 to 02 4399 then fast booted and flashed all files to get me to the new EU 309 11548 pkg which I am now on. I want to get to 1.4.6 to get some decent comms lwifi and gprs and 3 g but the issue is I can not get fastboot to load a recovery.img file to get clockmod to work.

Every time I fastboot I get the .mg OKAY anddo a fastboot -i x4xxx reboot then it reboots I do a factory reset or leave it and I get to boot options option 2 then I press thecamera button the screen goes black I wait .. then eventually the same upgrade pkg blue menu reappear saying you will lose all your data upgrading the upg file etc baseband version GAUSB1A13900 or which ever I'm not rebooting the phone to find out as I want to try flashing it again in a second I've gone through the pdf on xda developers and I'm seeing what I should with regards to fastboot but just no clock mod if I could see that I could move on

I had the same issue. I eventually got the clockwork alterative download, linked somewhere on here.
