i kinda feel better

this is why i love 1.1.1 - its so fast & robust

I think a few other people have been noticing this as well. i use my phone for alot of data over wifi and 3g and noticed it immediately. Just thought i should wait and see if any of the updates would fix it.

if the next couple of updates dont help ill be going back to 1.1.1 as well, although the thought of restoring 120+apps is daunting.

my tweaks for ril to speed up data access (they work for me on o2)

aren't in the last couple of versions, as they can interefere with some networks..

you can try adding these yourself to build.prop

or do it the easy way

and unzip this local.prop to /data and reboot...

no root needed (i love local.prop, doesn't survive factory reset though)

EDIT should point out that its worth doing a speedtest before and after with them in :P

2933kbps d/l and 1495! upload on H here at work (H inside at work is a treat!)

did I say I love local.prop ? must use it more for those on stock roms, not wanting to root :D

Had a couple of times here when waking from sleep the screens just completely froze and Ive had to reboot. Also just received a call but lock screen went a weird red colour and no ringtone. Anyone else had similar? :P

have you got the lowest speed setting on 128? that's usually the cause..

RIL is radio interface?? Layer, the bit that talks to the baseband..

one question. if my streak is not on charge, when its gone dark, it switch from wifi to 3G, if i unlock screen i see it connect to wifi.

how could i made that if my home wifi is available its only uses it and not the 3g or other networks.??

Try going into wifi settings, press menu button and choose advanced. You should be able to change the wifi sleep policy.

Lol I bought my fiancée a g2 and have been customizing it for her so she doesn't give me any grief. :D

On another note i fixed all my errors with markets, apps by reflashing 2,1 amss & 1.1.1, doing all formats in clockwork, factory reset, then flashing 2,2 amss, then 1.2.0, 1.3.0, and 1.4.5. Overclocked at 1.10 no underclock and it is running perfect.

Worth a shot for you guys still having issues.

1309 kbps after mod (749 before, although at home, not where i am now)

will test at home later... (i'm currently in a room with mobile signal boosters :D)

that's actually better than my sky connection, which aint hard but even so ;-)

Fards streak tweak equals 1150 away from the boosters, prev was 749 that's nearly 50% more by a copy paste reboot

yep ill include the market fix AND fards tweaks again - oh and it disables the issue with powering off if the rear panel isnt attached properly
