I think you are selling this case in ebay. This case is the worst case and quality i have ever used.

What, exactly, is a "PU soft leather case"???? Either it's PU, or it's leather - it can't be both!

I picked up my Vega a few weeks ago just before flying out of the country on holiday and had nothing to keep it 'safe'. I tried Dixons at Gatwick Airport and picked up a 'Contour Design' neoprene sleeve which was exactly the right size. Fortunately I could try the Vega's fit in store before buying. They don't show the full range on their web site, but it was one of these - http://retail.contourdesign.com/?/products/68 - but exactly the right size for the Vega.

I bought the same, and it seems to be a little bit too small for the Vega. And as you can see on the pics, it covers power input and some of the buttons.

Need to modify it, before it can be really used.

I got one del yesterday (3 day del :D ), mone does not impede anything on the right hand side (USB etc). Suits me fine, does the job n good price.

I have fitted the screen cover n apart from it being a pain it fits nicely over the screen, but not the black bezel. I think for the price all in its a good buy.

No, i dont sell them, nor connected to who does, just dont want to spend £25+ on a case n protector.

Hi,

My first ever post on a forum so be gentle with me:-)

I was wondering if anybody has tried one of these Keyboard / Cases from eBay:-

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Leather-Case-USB-key...7#ht_5748wt_937

I see there are similar posts but this item seems to be designed for the Vega although I cannot work out how the Vega is secured into the case (if at all) from the photos - this seems to have been the issue with other similar cases blocking access to the USB port.

Any info would be handy.

Thanks

Just bought the official case from Currys as I needed it in a hurry, Christ almighty its awful. Its apparently got a "stand feature" which in reality is a 1cm hinge. Going straight back, not worth £3 let alone £30.

Agreed it is awful but the stand is made up by unpopping the elastic ribbon from the inside of the top and attaching it to the outside rear :) this then stops the case from splitting open fully when used as a stand, but given the choice again i would ditch the case( i noticed a vega case now adverised on ebay , although from china) and buy the dock instead.

My worry with it would be one of the corner straps coming off n my vega dropping to the floor with a smash!

i bought the one further up the posts and am impressed for the price, including a screen protector. it also has a drop down piece for a stand thingy.

Yeah I wasn't so sure about the corner straps.. Looks quite nice in brown leather too..

Remlap, not sure I understand what you mean...

Anyone know if this case/keyboard would fit the VEGA?

http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Sound-a...Tablet(0083942)

It looks like it's just a USB keyboard.

Just read a few more posts and it looks just like the fleabay ones so I guess it will fit.

I'm new here, so Hello everyone :)

Yeah, it fits. I've got it with SuperPad - and with that tablet it worked perfectly. Vega fits in that case too but keyboard didn't work for me. I think some problem with drivers. So I gave it with SuperPad to my friend and bought this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0045D8...ref=oss_product

Unfortunately, this one is slightly too small - bit too tight on corners... :) So I don't recommend that one too...

Was it a good fit on the vega..?. It dosen't look to have anything on the right side to hold it in.

Also you said you think it maybe a driver problem, does anyone know a cure for this...?

It has something to hold tablet. You have to sort of slide it into that case from top of the case. It holds tablet quite firmly.

I've looked for this drivers but I couldn’t find anything. Custom key sets, sure - you can find them, but no drivers... :)

But it was almost 2 months ago, maybe situation changed during that time. I've got used to on screen keyboard and don't feel any need for replacement :)

As we know the docking port can allow additional usb ports to be used has anyone contacted the advent team on a keyboard/mouse compi so it becomes a netbook and folds down (like what we have seen from the asus and their transformer)
