Does the latest version v1.3 of rebelsim firmware support the new baseband

Hi,

I am a rebelsim user. Currently on Steve 1.1.1 Rom. Was thinking of upgrading to the latest by Steve by for that have to update the baseband. As rebelsim has also upgraded the firmware after the official launch of the froyo by dell. So I was thinking if any body has updated the firmware and using the current froyo build with it.

Any problems with it ....?

Yeh this has been answered before. It seems that it doesn't fully work. Voice and Texts work but people are having Data connections with it so might be best to stick to 1.1.1 for the time being until Rebel Sim come out with a better firmware update. Email them and pester them B)

I think they are trying to delay a proper firmware so someone with no patience will buy their £70 pounds mail-in unlock solution.

Rebel, correct me by releasing a compatible firmware if I am wrong. :)

Don't even think about using the 1.3 Beta.. Complete waste of time.

Ok I emailed them asking when is the final version coming out for the 1.3 beta and the sent me a short reply saying "very soon"

but by now you can use v1 it works with new baseband. the only issue is that you'll have to enable roaming but thats all
