XP unfortunately. I would imagine it's pretty seamless with Windows 7. I don't see it appear in the network list, and when I try to search for it it doesn't recognise the address, so I was wondering what exactly I ought to search for.

Try browsing the network - should appear in the windows work group.

Slowly getting used to LauncherPro, anyone know where to get icons that look like LauncherPros?

Yup, I get the same. Not even sure what that does!? Does it try to turn on GPS that isn't there by any chance?

I use a geocaching app that crashes unless my bluetooth gps is enabled, so that may well be the cause of the crashes

works in perfect full screen for me..... you might need to untick compatibility mode in spare parts and reinstall

Can you play in landscape or is it portrait only?

I started with Launcher Pro which i purchased then moved to ADW launcher as I find it smoother. However, I'm missing the LP apps and was wondering if they're available anywhere.

Thanks

Any other widget recommendation?

Miren browser is by far the easiest for me. Like the swipe back and forward for navigation. Just seems so slick. Worth a try.

Just found a new favourite app. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...p;postcount=128 samba filesharing on android.

Starts a samba server on the vega that runs whenever the wireless does and lets the vega show as an accessible network device on my windows machine letting me add and remove files from windows instead of having to either access the PC from the Vega in Astro or hooking up the USB. Works pretty well so far but not had it long will post any problems later.

How do I find the Vega on my PC after having installed samba on it?

I have been playing Dungeon Defenders: first wave and you will really get impressed by the power of this device.

It was not so smooth on my Desire, but on the Mobii (I have the PoV Mobii with r7 modaco rom) it runs awesome ! I think it is a perfect game to showoff this tablet to some also :P

It seems to run in native 1042x600, crystal-sharp 3d experience.

And about Fruit-Ninja, which is nice, I have a feeling that the touchscreen lags a bit, or looses some input. Anyone else?

Hi jason. Can you expand on your use of the density changer please. Default setting, best setting, issues etc?

cheers

I used it on 140 which looked very nice. Use the free density changer in the market LCDDensity

It does not mess up anything, so so far it feels free to try out.

I am still playing with LCD settings.

I can' t decide between 140 or 120 and then use large text for email and browser.

Stock setting is 160 and the lower the value the higher ress the screen appears.

I think 140 works better for keyboard so may stick with that for now.

Remember to re calibrate screen after each value change.

Jason.
