Guest Genieuk Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 I take it this card would be suitable? 16gb micro sd Class 4, Micro SD, Toshiba and £16.49 cheers, worto. I ordered the same one last wednesday. Hopefully should be with me today/tomorrow. I could only find miniSD's up to class 4. Not sure if the mini variety go above that.

Guest Genieuk Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 yeah, sorry mean't I could only find class 4 microSD's on the 7DayShop site.
Guest terminaljunkie Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 Bought a 16Gb, Class 6 Micro SDHC from a seller called 'Low Price Memory' on eBay for £20.80 and it flies! Tested using it against a Class 4 card and it seems 30-40% faster across all checks - access, copying and opening files. Very pleased!
Guest dukla2000 Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 Were you testing in the Vega? If so good to know it has no bottlenecks around Class 6!Bought a 16Gb, Class 6 Micro SDHC from a seller called 'Low Price Memory' on eBay for £20.80 and it flies! Tested using it against a Class 4 card and it seems 30-40% faster across all checks - access, copying and opening files. In theory Class 4 does 4MB/sec and Class 6 6MB/sec so 50% increase in theory. I have a Class 10 (10MB/sec) in the post somewhere and hope the Vega can exploit that (£25.82 from memory2 on fleabay)
Guest J_____C Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 Bought a 16Gb, Class 6 Micro SDHC from a seller called 'Low Price Memory' on eBay for £20.80 and it flies! Tested using it against a Class 4 card and it seems 30-40% faster across all checks - access, copying and opening files. Very pleased! Have you got an item number for that??

Guest wilx01 Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 (edited) 32Gb Class 2 £49.99 delivered http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_in...ducts_id=110088 Edited December 9, 2010 by wilx01
Guest warriorscot Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Pretty cool. Im using a 16gb one at the moment until I can get a class 4 32Gb for a reasonable price. Hopefully they will drop below £40 soon.
Guest richyroolahs Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 Ordered this today http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-32GB-TF-Memory-C...=item4aa68ad36e At 10 pounds with free delivery cant go wrong, if it works :D Yeah, I bought one of those from the same guy and it's shite. Be warned!!! Card doesn't format properly, frequently corrupts itself, and sometimes fails to mount altogether. Don't bother. You'd be fine with a good quality 16gb card.
