Guest R3my Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 The most interesting positioning program is by far google maps becaues it uses 'triangulation', data extracted from celular network, so you can have positioning even indoor. Unfortunately, this is limited due to internet access. I think there are many of us that wanted this google maps worked offline, on a dowloaded map. you are pleased to post your opinions here.
Guest Snow02 Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 Agps positioning alone is not very useful for driving navigation. And if you're driving, you'll have satellite availability. I can't imagine you need to navigate to anywhere from your living room. If you want something that works without a data connection, buy a navigation app. Copilot works great and is cheap. And there are other options that are just as inexpensive.
