Hi all,

Is there any way to stop the battery indicator from flashing when the phone's charging?

It's really annoying because I always charge my phone when I go to sleep, so I have to put the top of the phone against a wall to stop it from annoying me.

Thanks!

Face the phone away from you. Close eyes. Sleep.

Any questions?

Edit: All seriousness, could probly be fixed. I think that's something you'd remove in the boot img though, because it does it when the phone is off too.

The dutch acer website is showing a file called "Kernel Source Code" at the Liquid E tab when I select Android 2.2 from the drop down menu and go to the documents tab.

It's 90.3MB and date is 2010/06/24. Is this it, or is it an older version?

it blinks also when the phone is turned off, so isn't related to kernel.

I don't think that could be easily turned off.

Maybe you can paint it with a whiteboard marker? :P

Yeah 6/24 is Eclair kernel. You would notice under "Document" there is no selection for OS.

Maybe you should try a ROM which doesn't have LEDs like one of Vache's sense ports or Xianogen 1.2a

I really want to stick with LCR-F.

Also, i don't think it would help, because the indicator also flashes when the phone is off (and charging ofcourse).

And how do I do that?

I'm sorry but I'm kinda noob at this...

I know ADB and Malez, but that's as far as it goes...

I will take a look and will report asap if i manage to disable Leds ;)

i didn't necessarily mean for you personally to, cause it's fancy dev work with the source that is needed to make changed to it.
