Formatted the SD card with the phone and now it saying it's broken. Dead. Gone. Nada. Kaput.

It has some (major) bugs - so be patient.

Paul is working hard for us to have a decent Froyo ROM, rushing him is something we should avoid. Really.

Baked my custom rom about 30 minutes ago, flashed the rom using clockworkmod 2.5.0.9, it kept looping between the boot screen and lock screen. I left it for about 10 minutes to see if it'd sort itself out but it just kept looping. I reverted back to my backup.

Ok, i found the problem. When I remove my sim card and start the phone without it the loop is gone. Any chance for fixing that? I installed the alpha2 and have a german provider (O2).

Calendar App won't let you add any of your Google Calendars. No orange overlay bar though.

Camera crashing when taking photo (anyone else with the same bug?)

I have the same bugs, and I would say that they are both big issues. I use google calendar as one of my main apps, and this rom makes my phone totally useless in that sense. The camera in Blade isn't very good to begin with, but it's still fun to send MMS.

Paul if you fix these issues, then I won't regret that I spent money on a ad free account.

I tried to see what adb logcat says when the touchscreen is not responding after wakeup. But noticed that the usb is somehow different from the standard 2.1 ( Finnish/lcd standard:) ) and the same windows drivers aren't working. So I couldn't get the logs from the phone to see if there is some information what is missing or different in the error situation.

Are the input/touchscreen/* modules actually separate files somewhere in the boot.img or system.img? (If that is the location of the touchscreen drivers in kernels used in android) If they are, maybe we could try using .ko from the standard 2.1. It's a long shot and most likely will not work though. Might be so that we have to wait until we get the source to get the touchscreen of lcd version working without lockups.

I could do that at saturday/sunday (if alpha2 is available) with my awesome linux-server.

id really like to see the htc slate theme for this aswell, then my phone will be PERFECT for me ;)

Hmm i'd say after all the effort you have done it is more than reasonable as it is. The coarse location is a big strange mess but FM is not so important for me. Stock lockscreen would be nice at some point but no rush we can use lockscreen replacements.

The lock screen is the first thing i'll be adjusting once Alpha2 is out so i'll post the framework or atleast the lockscreen files once there done

One little remaining bug for me - the calendar doesn't seem to sync (but contacts and mail on the same account are fine).
