It brings up the Emergency Call Dialler ;) 999, 911 etc

Alpha2 (custom)

Every time I restart I get "Application Email (process com.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly."

I am not using Email app (have removed it from home screen) but I am using Gmail.

Have recently wiped all settings. Changes: gmail account, twitter, wireless, Angry birds.

jus bought an ad free subscription. now this is a noob question but ummm...... how do i get to the kitchen. i went to the 1st post and cant download alpha2 (when i click download it takes me to modaco.com o a new tab) can someone please help me

thanks got it sorted now. tried using internet explorer and got to the kitchen. wasnt loading up on firefox for me. strange. but im downloading alpha 2 as we speak. cant wait ;)

Same Issue as in Alpha1

1) GPS does not work

2) In Maps, some times while zooming-In, it actually Zooms-out

3) Weather widget is to be Force stop

4) Same with Messaging app.

I am returning to Alpha1.

Well, the built in Task Manager reports 94% CPU usage - constantly ;)

Which is the suggested app to track down the guilty process?

Edit: Nevermind, just used top command in Terminal Emulator - the infamous CKPD daemon is using 75-85% of my CPU :P

How should I kill that, and what is it actually?!

Edit2: Did some search here and figured asturel mate had the same problem. (Reboot solved it for him... And also for me! Thanks dude :P)

1) GPS works good here, got me to less than 20 metres away after a few moments, less time than the sat nav takes to lock on, and I'm indoors in a block of flats (1st floor)

2) Maps no problems here

3) dont use the weather widget

4) Messaging app is perfect, used it lots and no problems

OK, helped myself:

Howto add app2sd to the image:

Extract 40a2sd file from FrankishFroyo ROM: http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...yo-r1-old-a2sd/ found in path /system/etc/init.d

Open the modaco .zip file and add the attached file (40a2sd) to the path /system/etc/init.d

Then close the .zip file, copy to the device and flash it. Voila. ;)

Coarse location + FM radio seem to be no go! I have looked pretty deeply into it too, quite annoying...

Don't know if it helps, but 'Anntenas' app gets your location perfectly straight away.

It feels like the cell ID is given in a wrong way by default.

Titanium doesn't appear to want to start says Root is not available.

This is with the prebaked alpha 2,

Wiped prior to flashing and then wiped cache before booting room.

Out of interest did you do a wipe if going from alpha 1. I didn't bother as other people said it wasn't required but had few issues., ie email fc all time. Good way to check is to see what apn you have listed. Mine didn't show new list so have done full wipe and so far so good.

ok jus played with it a bit. green bar across the top is still there when playing hq vids.thats wat ive come across so far. will let you know if i find anything else. otherwise great release. cant wait for alpha3 ;)

Not having any issues apart from Youtube, gps, mail etc all fine.

One weird thing, all my music is appearing twice, not had that before, any ideas?
