Any body having issues with texting on A2 , soon as i press a button/letter key , the keyboard dissapears , any the key i pressed wont display in the box , strange , no issues on A1 , wiped+factory reset in clockwork before install too

Great...think i'm going to hold off on alpha 2 for now assuming a prebake would be up some point today/tonight for alpha 3. Lots of complaints about various things but i'm sure it can't be that bad?

@Paul i know it's a minor thing but is enabling the H icon or 3G+ icon a huge task or a small mod?

All the major changes are made on the /system partiton therefore if /data stays untouched then all new improvements can be gained without loosing personal data - is that so?)

I had problems with 'Email app' force closing coming from alpha 1.

wiping data, cache and reinstalling the .zip solved it.

OK, after using alpha2 for a bit here's my feedback:

- I can confirm I get the same issues as other people (zte widgets in chinese/crashing. timezone, duplicate music, no radio, no wifi positioning)

- Call Settings > Set SMS Reject default message is "Sorry, now is not convenient to answer your phone, contact later." Still not quite English ;)

- I have a weird issue whereby the phone won't receive calls if I disable WCDMA, is GSM working on the ROM? Might be just me but worked on the first froyo.

- Battery seems to be draining rather fast compared to alpha1 but too early to say.

Otherwise performance seems pretty darn good :P

To fix Youtube go into build.prop with a text editor and disable stagefright-http. Then push build.prop back to /system/ or edit the build.prop before flashing!

Very nice ROM, I wiped everything, removed everything from vfat and ext2 partition and make a clean install with alpha2 from the kitchen.

Restore everything with Titanium.

I had the same issue. it can't find the dictionary for some reason switching dictionary off gives short term fix. I reinstalled apk and resolved issue

I'd like to get a few more fixes in before I roll the alpha3 prebake.

SuperUser app managers root permissions for apps.

It will prompt you for action whenever an app attempts to gain root access.

Radio is excluded from the prebake, because it doesn't work!
