Bad news on the keypad lights front - the keypad lights are not supported in the kernel, so they're not gonna be fixed i'm afraid!

Please tell me you have bought her an Android phone? I don't care how young she is lol.

EDIT:

Thanks Paul, i purchased membership to get the kitchen access. ;)

Is there anyway around the coarse GPS?, i take it 'google' sat nav etc will work fine?

Regarding keypad lights, what is the exact problem, i get a flashing red back button and the same button turns green when i recieve an SMS message through chompSMS.

I can also report 'snesoid SNES emulator etc is a lot faster now than alpha 1 was.

Now much to fix now apart from the 'radio'?

Cheers

Still looking into the coarse GPS.

The problem with the keypad lights is the white backlight doesn't come on.

All this considered I think it's shaped up pretty nicely...! ;)

Looking at the changes to alpha 3 i have already done most of that myself for alpha 2. Is there any chance you can post your calendar files please? Is it just a fixed .apk or is ther emore to it? Thanks!

Nicely? FANTASTIC job more like.

Frankish, you mean you have coarse GPS working?

Is there anyway i can backup my phone?, i usually have to re-install all my apps and setting again after a reflash for the new ROMS

Cheers

Hi Paul!

Once again thanks for your time to provide us with such awesome ROMs ;)

Assuming you don't get lockscreen freezes since you probably spend all day flashing, is there any way we can help you debug this situation? Someone earlier told that it's possible to connect via ADB when this happen, is there any log or something that can be useful?

Thanks in advance :P

If you mean backing up the apps prior to flashing a new rom, use Titanium Backup. Saves the files to your sd card and then you'll be able to restore your apps as you had them.

Well, does anything happen in logcat at the time it crashes?

does anyone know why titanium backup is just stuck on 'asking for root rights'?

@Paul Is the Calendar fix just fixed .apk's? Or was there more to it?

With Adroid SDK installed, connect PC to SF with USB debugging enabled, run adb logcat > log.txt

Am I missing something?

Email app still does not let you press next

so you can't enter a username and password

Manage applications, clear cache. Force stop, restart. Worked for me. Caveat - I will not be accountable for lost data.

Works here... you are entering an email address and password to enable the 'next' button right?
