Guest ri2la Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) Any chance someone could just humour me and try installing wordfeud (free version) from the market, as the missus loves it, and I can't get it to install on this ROM. I just want to check whether its something to do with my load rather than an incompatibility issue. It works on 2.2/2.2.1 on my hero. IIRC it errors, with the space issue, and the box to "manage applications" pops up. I have A2SD configured, and seems to be working fine + there is plenty of space. No yet logcat'd as I need to sort out adb on my win7 64bit machine and haven't got round to it yet. ;) thanks :P Edited December 7, 2010 by ri2la

Guest syinet Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Hi, on the a3 release, my only problem is that now angry birds is seriously lagy compared to the a2. Everything else works great, calendar, gps etc. thanks Paul, great work.

Guest lixcab Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 alpha4 WIP kitchen online with test coarse location fix! P Awesome! ;) When Paul creates a custom ROM, he's not typing codes, the codes are "high-fiving" him! Thanks!
Guest Paul Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Incidentally, 99% confident the stock lock screen can be merged into this. It's not particularly straightforward, but it's do-able. ;) P
Guest Paul Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Based on the assumption that keypad backlights can't be fixed (no kernel support), it looks like the FM radio is the last outstanding major issue. P
Guest Azurren Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Whoa Paul's fixed everything most people care about in a few days! ;) Quick question: Is the FM chip in the SF capable of transmitting? Always wanted to play with one of those :P

P Hi Paul, just wanted to check, the Browser Zoom buttons are transparent - is that a bug? The buttons function correctly so this is not a major bug of course. It could just be happening on my device. Thanks! Edit: Virtual buttons, of course. Edited December 7, 2010 by lixcab

Guest AndyHibberd Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Am I right in thinking that upgrading to future version of this will not require any wiping? EG If I am on alpha4 and Paul releases alpha5 I can just update my ROM without doing a clean install? Appreciated, Andy

Had to reload a few widgets, but everything else is exactly as it was.

Guest DarkCounter Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Now that coarse position seems to be fixed I just subscribed to AdFree. As soon as I am @home I will go into your kitchen and get some froyo out of the fridge ;). Great work, man - keep it up!
