first issue: touchpal keypad does not stay open after first keypress

One way to do it is to delete /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/telephony.db, then mount /system as writeable, edit /system/etc/apns-conf.xml to remove your victim APN, then reboot.

Just got gingerbread launcher off the market..... Quick test and everything seems to be as should. Like the notfication area

Saw on XDA that the keyboard was available as a patch.... if we put this on froyo, would it also enable the enhanced select text option.... ie ability to move your text selection markers, or is this much more hardcoded into core of gingerbread?

Manually selecting the text i want is one thing i find much harder on the SF (coming from a hero with trackball)

Apparently, while all the languages are enabled, the keyboard stays English — for example, if you enable Russian (Русский), switching to it doesn't change the symbols on the keys, it only changes the name of the layout.

Will not be working - choose a different widget from market (I personally prefer Snpowstorm widget) ;)

I've just installed alpha 3 and i've noticed a few times now when i launch task manager i get a system busy message. Never saw it when running 2.1, not really a problem just wondered if it was normal ?

Happens sometimes on my SanFran too - phone is probably really busy ;)

Installed alpha 3 on finnish Blade, seems to work fine (except for the camera). I have had screen freezing on every other froyo rom, but this seems to work. Great job!

I have the same problem.

Try Fancy Widget, it gives a weather forecast, time and date and it's free on Android Market.

What version of rom you running. This used to be in one of first alphas, but paul corrected it to display MCR if your provider wasnt on list (of hardcoded providers)
