Guest randal24 Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Might have just found my first bug, Android system sucking up 100% CPU time. Can't get it to stop either. ;)
Guest ticktime Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) Just installed Gingerbread launcher, but the notification bar is still in white. Edited December 7, 2010 by ticktime

Guest leetron1 Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) Just installed Gingerbread launcher, but the notification bar is still in white. How? Does it require 2.2 installed to access the app on the marketplace? Links state for 2.1/2.2..is that incorrect? Edited December 7, 2010 by leetron1
Guest Willz Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Just installed this and working great so far, thanks Paul. Just wondering, when I want to upgrade to alpha 4, will I have to wipe again, or can I just flash it and keep all my settings, apps etc.?
Guest SWOriginal Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) Just installed Gingerbread launcher, but the notification bar is still in white. it will not replace your notification bar, for that you will need to wait untill someone releases a 2.3 framework(theme) for this rom ps: this thread is getting way off topic with peoples market issues ect... Just installed this and working great so far, thanks Paul. Guest Woshmistro Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 What version of rom you running. This used to be in one of first alphas, but paul corrected it to display MCR if your provider wasnt on list (of hardcoded providers) I get MCR as the service on the lock screen even though it's on Orange, I would of thought Orange would be first on the list providers.
Guest MIKEYMC Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Hey, this is pretty cool right? ;) P Used to go along the B1134 every day to harleston to see my missus in withersdale.

Guest ezablade Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 Yep, works perfectly No GPS enabled, 3G only ;) Any chance you can talk nicely to Paul and get this included in your ROM, flibblesan? It's working great for me and I prefer the lock screen in your ROM. Cheers.
Guest Simon O Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 Might have just found my first bug, Android system sucking up 100% CPU time. Can't get it to stop either. ;) That is actually normal. If you go to "Settings > About Phone > Battery use > Android system" you should see that the CPU usage time will be quite low. On my phone CPU total is 4m 14s and CPU foreground is 34s. The phone has been on for 4hours 38min and 46s since unplugged, and 5hours 58min 43s total since boot.

I have a few ideas but not got round to trying anything yet.

Guest Simon O Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 I keep meaning to organise a Norwich meet, there's a few of us round this part of the world! ;) P Plenty of trains between here and Norwich so it's quite possible for me. A little MoDaCo event would be cool. Might even be worth waiting for some nice weather and do a UK version of the Android BBQ :P
