the two cases are quite different, i just recieved the new case into my store and it looks quite nice. It has a soft leather effect now and has advent embossed on the front but most importantly it now holds the vega very well also. slides in from the inside spine(if held open like a book) and it also has a small flap that folds back under the vega to be sure it doesnt slide out. It also has a elastic strap that keeps it closed but still has the stud and small strap to facilitate a stand. I originally bought the first case and can say that after seeing the new one it has defininatley set my mind at rest about the design and so will buy this new one as i returned my old one on account of previously mentioned issues. I am back at work on friday and will try to upload some pics if the side hasnt already been updated.

I think the 2 cases listed are exactly the same but different web addresses. Both products below share the same product code (773261);

it may be that they have replaced the 'old' design with a new one but kept the rest of the details the same.

Anyone any wiser whats happening with these cases?

PCW appear to have pulled both the original and new (pictureless) case from their site. Was holding off for pics of the new case before deciding what to buy... I even tweeted adventvega asking what the differences between the cases were who tweeted back to say they would get back to me but never did...

Wow they look great, I have the official case but its annoying you cant fold it over to have it raised like a keyboard

That's a nice case. I particularly like the way it folds as a holder. But $US57.89 = approx £36 so, unfortunately, a tad expensive for me.

Indeed, is what I thought, I'd have paid around £20/25 for it tops.

Shame though, says it fits the vega too. you can get one to fit with a usb keyboard in it for that price (though a keyboard for me kinda defeats the object of it being a tablet!)

Keep an eye out on fleabay I suppose lol!

Don't buy one at all. They are pretty bad cases IMO. I have one at times I wish I hadn't bothered.

maybe a TPU gel case is a good choice, where can i buy it?

Bought this from ebay £6.76 free delivery, although from China only took 9 days to arrive. OK, so it's not leather, but it has a built in stand and fits very well, just has to make a couple of adjustments with a craft knife to accommodate power socket and added a piece of non slip material inside so it cant slip out

Works fine! and a bargain to boot :D

Hi not sure if this is in the right place but here goes, we have been looking for a leater effect case for our vegas for a while and read all forums and how the offical case is not that good? this week i found this on ebay they are based in the UK so i ordered 2 on the 7th June they arrived the morning of the 9th June, they look and fell quite good quality but time will tell but for under £15 delivered got to be worth a try?

A quick question did the case you ordered have the 3 panels which allow the tablet to stand up at 3 different angles as the one from ebay does? The one from ebay looks perfect but it is pretty expensive.

No only 1 , case is the exactly same as photos.
