I've installed the game on my GTab without a sim inserted to see if it fails doing things because it has no access to send sms's

I'm also going to have a go at removing the permissions from the XML to see if it fails at doing stuff

I was having trouble with the link so I just tagged phoneID=4337 to the full request url in the sms i.e.

wapshop.gameloft.com/php5/wifi/dl_web_tnb/promo/buyfull.php?phoneId=4337& ...........

That will then identify as the Desire and should give you the free download page no matter what device.

What i did is paste this link in ie, download the apk and drop in in my dropbox, installed it and turned on wifi on my phone and its downloading the data over wifi.

Rem1x is right, copying the apk doesn't work due to some kind of drm. It installs but when you launch it it says something about this copy not being an original.

It only seems to run well on 2.2. I had it running on 2.1 with hardware acceleration turned off but it was too slow to play. With hardware acceleration on it just bombed out and wouldn't run. It's great on 2.2 tho.

Just tried it on mine, no copy protection error, runs pretty well.
