Guest Alvan Yap Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 I think that installation problem is here: # busybox df -h . busybox df -h . Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted o /dev/block/mtdblock5 76.9M 76.1M 756.0K 99% /cache File system /cache is used when download application from market. Application is downloaded in this file :downloadfile.apk If it is bigger than free space (700k) install error in MIUI ROM dalvik cache is in /cache. In LCR dalvik cache is in /data. So in MIUI ROM you have a lot of space for application ( i have 70MB in /data) but small free space in cache. so solution is?
Guest sciacca Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 so solution is? Downloadn apk and install from file explorer Or use alternative market application Or wipe davil-cache before install from market. Or remove any downloadfile* in /cache I ask guru if is possible move dalvik-cache to SD.

Guest Liquidator Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 I just installed this ROM, it's definitely very fast and good looking! I don't know if it's market related, but I cannot install WhatsApp, not via the market nor via trying to install from the apk file. Trying to do so results in the phone rebooting. Anyone here who succeeded in installing WhatsApp?
Guest fischschneehase Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 I installed it from titanium ....;) does someone else have reboots? Especially using thrle email app:S apart from this great rom :(
Guest fear_factory84 Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 I had reboots before changing back rom... but I think it was related to something I installed. MIUI is not for daily use in my opinion....

Guest Master_T Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 I must say the non-tether version is much better with battery. 9 hours since last charge, made a couple of calls. received a couple of sms and used wifi a bit, still at 81%. One thing that bothers me about this rom is that the widget placement is a bit off... it seems to leave a lot of free space at the top and then doesn't have enough space so widgets overlap, as shown by this screenshot I took: Uploaded with ImageShack.us Is everyone getting this problem? I guess it's a MIUI bug....

Guest zalex777 Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 Hi all :( It's my first post on this forum, but I read every day on it. I like custom my liquid since I got it in april 2010 and I tested almost all Roms available on S100. MIUI is one of my favorite and I wanted to say that this version is a very good one (in my opinion^^) I have no problem with it until now. Just one thing which would be great for future version => Headphone is not working and it would be very usefull (or maybe there is an option I have not noticed in settings ?...) because for example to take a call or hang up, I would appreciate that I could do it with my headphnones ;) Thanks to devs for this great job ;)
Guest DiluTe Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 its disabled in kernel.... Haptic feedback does work for me, I just can't turn it off lol..
Guest Liquidator Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 Someone has tried to port the DSP manager to the MIUI ?? Last time I try to flash it, bootloop the rom. I tried DSP, but the ROM won't boot after installing. Is there a solution for this? I really would like to have DPS back!
Guest tmp_do Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 is anyone can upload boot.img of non-tether build?

Guest fischschneehase Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 To enable haptic feedback you need just create a little script with gsctipt and run it;) iwill post it later just add it and run it;)
Guest markII Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 Yes but you should run the script every time you starts the phone
