Guest fischschneehase Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 Hi, I' tried to search and ask on differents forums, but I didn't find any answers... I flashed the AIO 1.28 ROM, and time by time my touch screen goes crazy, like if I was touching randomly everywhere on the screen... I don't know how to reproduce bug, but when it will occur again I can provide a logfile... (btw it does only happen on MIUI and the previous version of CM7, not on LCR) Maybe this is a known bug, I hope you'll help me since this one of the best roms I tried, thanks in advance ;) Uyour Touchscreens sensetivity is Set Too high ...;)
Guest Temur Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 go get Terminal emulator, when you have it type: "su" "a2sd check" (this shows you if apps are currently moved to ext if they are not moved, continue) "a2sd reinstall" (your phone will reboot) the built in A2SD+ option in miui will not show if a2sd works even if it does ... Terminal Emulator: su a2sd check -> And now?
Guest elgubbo Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 (edited) Terminal Emulator: su a2sd check -> And now? that means a2sd IS working and you are using it right now! the reason internal memory is still used is because the dalvik cache is moved from cache to former data partition ... if you do have a swap partition i recommend using it by typing: su a2sd reswap Edited February 3, 2011 by elgubbo
Guest fastreward Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 (edited) Uyour Touchscreens sensetivity is Set Too high ...;) Ok thanks, how to set down my screen sensitivity? There was LCR settings on LCR but I dunno how on others Roms :'( Edit: I found ;) link here http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...-05-based-roms/ Edited February 3, 2011 by fastreward

(A2SD+) ? EDIT: ahh ok it work now xD THANK YOU! ---- Root Explorer-> "system/sd/app/" (1GB, and my apps are there.) Edited February 3, 2011 by Temur
Guest elgubbo Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 (edited) Hmm ok THX ! ;) but why it does not display it on Settings->system->sd-card ? (A2SD+) ? i think its because the built in a2sd+ is not supposed to work with our liquid (thats why we need thepastos patch, on native miui devices, a2sd+ is enabled by default) suggestion: if you dont use it yet, flash koudelkas bootv2 ;) it works with a2sd and gives good battery life Edited February 3, 2011 by elgubbo

When i enable it my liquid go down in performance. So swap off. koudelkas bootv2...how flash? After all? Also after using 1.1.21 for some days? Or i need fresh flash?
Guest elgubbo Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 you can flash it anytime but if you use apps2sd, flash it AFTER thepastos patch ;) if you are using the rom now with apps2sd, you can flash this from recovery withour problems ;) about swap: i only have liquid A1, so im running low on ram sometimes, so swap is good for me and increases performance a LOT for me :D

Guest gnufabio Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 What's new with kundela liquid_miui_bootv2? Less battery drain? I noticed that battery drain is higher when it's in standby, but it is lower when you use it ;) However, here an italian langpack for this ROM: http://www.multiupload.com/MHWJRPWLCF
Guest Intenso74 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 Hi all! A few hours ago my phone suddenly got really hot. Also, the battery was suddenly at 32%, while the phone had been on for about 3 hours. I tried restarting and turning the phone off for an hour and then back on again, but the battery just kept on draining like crazy. When I looked at battery usage (I had just 1% left by then) I saw that Mediaserver had used 82(!)% of my battery. However, I can't find any app called mediaserver on my phone at all. Does anyone know what the app is really called and if it can be removed safely. If not, does anyone know a way to fix this? I really need help quickly. Thanks!
Guest elgubbo Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 Do you have a class 2 sd? no my sd is class 6
Guest Temur Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 I have a problem again i have only restore ~60% (apps) with titaniumbackup.
Guest eiben_robert Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 (edited) Hello, I have a 16 gb sdcard partitioned with malez recovery (swap, ext2, fat32) which works fine in other roms. I flashed the pack indicated by gnufabio: miui 28, en lang pack, bootv2. After reboot miui starts fine but says "sd card not found or unsupported file system". App2sd partition is recognised btw... Any ideeas how to solve this? Thanks in advance, Update: I reflashed as adviced by Intenso and Elgubbo 1. miui 2801 full version (gnufabio post) 2. en lang pack 2801 1c 3. a2sd patch from the pasto 4. bootv2 from koudelka Everything worked ok: SDcard, app2SD, swap. Thank you everybody for the support If I can make a suggestion: this topic is developing very fast and it is difficult to keep track of all the changes and updates. Mark please continue to update the first post with the links (MIUI versions, lang pack, patches and kernel info). Edited February 4, 2011 by eiben_robert

I didn't use the bootv2 patch, so i don't know if it will work for you because it modifies the boot.img. Good luck! Edited February 3, 2011 by Intenso74
Guest elgubbo Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 (edited) i do use bootv2 and it works with a2sd+ ;) but you will have to flash a2sd patch by thepasto first, then bootv2 Edited February 3, 2011 by elgubbo
