radio recorder / play file with delay at the same time

I'm a fan of one radio show and usually am not able to hear the program since the very beginning. I've tried recording the radio show using i8000's radio recorder but I can't find a way to play the file while is being recorded and, moreover, the fm radio application is closed when playing the file. Can anyone figure out how to record the radio show and play the file at the same time (a little bit delayed) so as the ipod does? I wouldn't like to wait until the end of the show to hear it.
