Tried installing this, all went fine and looks good (although still needs work, and will not connect to my wifi !). BUT, for some reason cannot get Steve's 1.4.6 back - just gets stuck on Dell logo. Yet I'm able to go back to MiUi ????

I had same issue...try factory reset? worked for me...waited for 5 mins to load

Thanks for the rom, hyde. Really like the miui experience (though id like it more if you could theme away the iphone from it :-D ) Working surprisinhly well for an alfa. But do you recon you'll fix the worst bugs soon and make it usable on a day2day, or would it be wiser to just go back to 1.4.6 and wait?

I've just gone and bought a second streak just to play about with your work.

Now my wife is extremely P***ed off.

The kids are p***ed off

(coz wife's all p***ed off)

The dog is p***ed off coz they're all p***ed off and it's getting honked at big time.

My eldest is "Really Vexed Up" because she wanted my iPhone 3Gs which im selling to offset the cost of my newest purchase

Hi Stephen,

I grt installation aborted error 4 from both the links in first post.I am running streak with 2.1 baseband clockwork recovery and yours 1.4.6 ..tried factory reset, but still cant install the zip.

Can someone guide ?

ok folks if you are fairly competant with what your doing in adb hers a very rough howto that hopefuly should fix wifi.

grab the 2 files below :

push these files to the correct locations on your streak as below:

adb push busybox /system/xbin

login to adb shell and change some permissions firstly

well im desperately still trying to fix the wifi or find a way that might help anyone else (proud to say i have zero networking skills...facelife included lol :))

i was looking (LOOKING!!) at the build.prop and the wifi search field is blank? i've attached a screenshot incase by any reason unknown you dont know what i mean lol :)

Oh... wouldnt it be nice if it was something that easy to fix :-) i looked at the cm6 build and that was the same so i guessed you wouldnt have missed it twice. i sent you a pm on xda with a couple of ideas?? im collecting useful info at the mo' so ill bombard the thread soon, bet you've got enough to get your head around :-)
