Guest DonJamal Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 Ive tried it and its cool just a lilbit slow.. id like if the improvment is getting faster
Guest Cirno Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Okay, tried it out and seems I could boot it once, but then afterward it just went into forever boot looping the boot logo. Seems like it needs more refining.
Guest olionair Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 i think we should concentrate on CM7

Guest hecatae Posted January 26, 2011 Report Posted January 26, 2011 (edited) okay mcr 2.1 and jj 2.2 contain a qcrilhook.jar and a qcrilhook.xml this is not in 2.3 zip, is there a reason for this? attached qcrilhook.xml from jj 2.2, mcr 2.1 contains same file right added both files to the .zip, will report back lg gt540 has same files and is also a msm7227 cpu, rebooting now, the above hook is responsible for the libril-qcril-hook-oem.so working stuck in a boot loop, doubt I need libmock-ril.so though deleting and trying again qcrilhook.xml is found in /system/etc/permissions qcrilhook.jar is found in /system/framework same with qcnvitems.xml and qcnvitems.jar, both files in 2.1 and 2.2, same size, no sign in 2.3 zip also libqcomm_omx.so from /system/lib and 01_qcomm_omx.cfg from /system/etc also from /system/etc init.qcom.sdio.sh init.qcom.fm.sh init.qcom.coex.sh init.qcom.post_boot.sh all files mentioned so far are in both 2.1 and 2.2 roms, same size, so same files from system/etc/firmware/wlan the following are missing qcom_cfg.ini qcom_nv.bin qcom_fw.bin rebooting again adding all files mentioned above, whats the md5 sum for the gingerbread download on the first page? ok, stuck in a boot loop, where's Matty P when you need him all proposed changes are in this .zip gbdqcom.zip flash with clockwork Edited January 26, 2011 by hecatae
Guest hecatae Posted January 26, 2011 Report Posted January 26, 2011 Hi Matty-p, sorry for my bad english.... use a sanfran from england 512MB Oled. At first i install with Clockworld 2.5.0.9 the Gingerbread 2.3r7.zip and reboot sometimes. Next i use your 2.3_asop_audio.32gappsr1.zip as a update with and without wipe all! But realy it is only a bootloop with androidtext on sreen. What can i do? Chrisul as above wiped data wiped cache, install zip, and a forever boot loop.

Whats the reason the old version of ril do not work? I'm not really the one to ask why it doesn't work... It's not required to be open so they haven't provided it.

Guest Russell Crawford Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 If we could add the right lib from CM7 to the gingerbread rom I think it would work but I cant extract the system.img on my mac :P
Guest IronDoc Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 If we could add the right lib from CM7 to the gingerbread rom I think it would work but I cant extract the system.img on my mac :P Surely you can flash the image and then swap the ril.
