Paul working on r10 based on an unreleased leak

People will never be satisfied.

Either he:

- posts that the rom is coming, misses the date he specifies and gets a lot of angry flashoholics on his back

- doesn't post at all (same result as above)

- posts the rom and in about a week faces another angry mob

Some people are just ungrateful and the thing that they don't understand is that this is exactly the attitude that puts future cookers and existing ones from kooking roms in the first place.

No, you're not right. The keyword here would be transparency.

There is not a single post here in this forum by Paul about what's going on. We go by the random tweet and that is irritating. People are not ungrateful. I'm sure everyone appreciates a lot the work Paul is putting into this. What you read is more an expression of insecurity. Did I pick the right ROM? Should I go elsewhere?

The whole discussion wouldn't exist if Paul every other day said where he stands with things or what issues still need to be resolved. Everyone would understand and gain security. Nobody would complain about Paul not solving some issues not fast enough as we all know that nobody can do it like Paul anyway.

So, Paul, in case you happen to read this, thanks for your effort and please keep us a bit more in the loop.

Wrong premises, wrong conclusions. Sorry. Also you can't compare MoDaCo with XDA and other dev's websites. And you can't jump back and forward from "some people" to "(all) people" making generalizations all over the place.

I like the new HD roms

Battery last for long , New sense is nice (part ) and good look.

but the ppl who doing those roms are not as good as paul , lots of bricks around , A2sd+ not good , problems lots of them .

So yes I would like to have the HDROM in house ...

Yeah this is a very typical post from someone infatuated.

The truth is however is he's talking total and utter rubbish. He couldn't name a single person who has bricked his phone from a sense hd rom. In fact, I'm not even certain of this posters true identity. Paul owns the site, could it be that he has several usernames.

i think and its only my opinion that he is very good , and i was trying some HD roms told u I love it but since I started with the HD roms or the S-off

Im experienced problems like brick, USB brick ( very easy to solve ) and at the local forum here I see lots of ppl who got it

to my opinion the cause is : S-off or the need to "play" with the sdcard new ext3\ext4 size 2gb or the build of the rom .

from here take it and blame the man he use more then one name

I believe the intent of this thread was to speculate and find details of what might be in R10 and what it would be based on.

Only thing that's for sure is that it will have the new market embedded.

Yeah i miss out on some his tweets sometimes.

With the whole getting stuck in the snow, and receiving Nesus S (Lucky Bastardo, deserves some play time with his new toy).

Just restored back from AdamG's Gingerbread port for desire. Was already better then Richard Trips first Ginger Ninja.

So that might also be Paul's "Something else".

Had hoped Paul would choose porting Z instead of HD (not that i use sense) but i can see other people totally going for landscape switching in sense. But any of the two is cool though, i'm only interested in the skins switching functionalities in those builds.

So MCRR10 on 2.29 Rom.

I gotta admit that the delay in r10 has nudged me to try some of the other ROMs. I will always be loyal to modaco as from my experience, Pauls ROMs are always class, but I am currently impressed with MIUI and enjoying it until our r10 xmas present arrives :-)

eMIUI is pretty awesome, fastest ROM I've used and first without Sense I've liked. Think I'll be using it for a while yet

Which build Eddy, an all in one or did you grab the chinese and apply the language pack and any extras yourself?

me too, although I was running 12.11 by eveek and just cleared cache and dalvik cache when installing this one. Do you get a force close on traffic monitor when setting data limits?

It's very close to release I think, hopefully the new year will see it come out of beta phase.
