New acer update tool saying my E has 256mb ram

The new tool won't let me flash 4.002.14 on my Liquid E... Says it isn't compatible because my phone only has 256mb ram. I currently have the 4.504b leak with LCRF 1.2.

Any suggestions?

why not use the tool that works? v3.1. So far it has worked for me every time.

I have 3.1, but this update isn't a bin file. I've been away from the scene for a while as I was so content with the latest leak and LCR-F, and it seems to have been quite eventful here :)

4.504 was for Liquid E (512MB of RAM), 4.504b was for Liquid (256MB of RAM).

Try flashing a Liquid E bin then installing your official update on top?

Thanks everyone. I couldnt find the update in BIN format. Also, i never noticed i flashed the wrong BIN until now.

Denner, what update were you trying to flash? The new Rogers ROM? You do that on top of the latest bin in Malez recovery.

I also had this problem. If you want to use the update downloaded from Acer's site you should flash any froyo leak with acer tool before,then run the setup.exe :)
