Phone Part Bricked? gt i8000

Hi all,

I just got an omnia ii phone from mobilepc.com and it is supposed to be an unlocked phone. I inserted a mexican SIM card and it did not have service, then I tried to change the band settings and suddenly the phone part went off and since then I can't turn the phone part on. When I go to the check the version this is what I get:

PDA:I8000NXXJC4

CSC:I8000XSOJC3

Phone : nothing

I flashed the I800NXXJC4 full rom and still does not work.

Should I send it back to the seller?

No, I just tried flashing the full ROM, as soon as I get home i'll try just the phone part. Also, I'll try some custom ROMs.

Well I tried flashing the phone part, and flashing the full i8000NXXJJ11 and still not getting the phone part. I'll try custom ROMs later, but I'm starting to think that it might be WM6.5 registry issue. Have anyone seen something similar?

my omnia ii had suffered from this issue before. phone part disappeared with no reason and can never turn on the phone function.

it was a hardware problem.

first of all try to flash only the PHONE PART nothing else

if your phone still UNFACTIONAL take a visit at your local SAMSUNG service cause you have a hardware problem
